How much do you know about the corporate world? There’s a lot of dumb that rides through the ranks. That whole “it’s not what you know, it’s who you know” thing is 100% true.

Here is the thing with her being a bartender, some of them could make 1500-2000 a week, depends where they work and how good they are and so on.

I dated a chick who would make 350-500 on Friday’s and Saturday’s each, only make about 100-200 other days.

Sometimes people say why should I give a job where I can make this much and start at the bottom here where am making half of that?

Specially for a young person straight out of college, not all of them get prestigious jobs working for Fortune 500 companies because they are privileged.

Yeah but that’s just one example. Virtually every company I’ve worked for or with has people in high positions, CEOs down to managers, with less intellect or experience than people below them.

I agree. Listen I met her when she was running and while was canvasing going door to door, had a brief convo with her at the time and she is a smart lady. Some **** she says may seem out of left field but all of these guys elected to office once in a while say something crazy, but she is passionate about the working class and those she represents. Meanwhile the guy before here I never met once.

Or they went to the right school, kissed enough ***, etc etc. And I don’t fault them for it, but it’s just reality.

I will say though, finance is a bit different. I don’t think I’ve met a CFO who wasn’t incredibly smart.
