More or less hard to reconcile than an administration with Bannon, Sessions, and Miller not being pro-white nationalism.

Proclaiming he's doing a terrible job because a lot of people say so isn't exactly "evidence". It can't be dismissed that half the country voted for him so just because there isn't throngs of Pro Trumpers marching in the street or flooding social media or even prevalent as having platforms on mainstream media decrying every event that happens doesn't prove anything. There's really no denying that half the country supported his agenda simply because they believed there was a better way to run things. Of course that's subjective on what "better way" is......but no different in the way this same half of the country believed every decision and path Obama took was the worst ever just as the half that didn't support Trump feels now. I realize it makes the left feel better to paint people who support Trump's decision as blind fools that are being tricked by some Traveling Carnival Huckster................but maybe it's a group of people with different life experiences that believe there was a different way to do things and different ideas that would be better than previous administrations. Just because Joy Behar, Jim Acosta and AOC are flooding the tv with how bad things are doesn't make it so.........any more than you believe the same about Sean Hannity. 2020 will be interesting for sure.
You missed my point. I did not say Trump was on the same side as Sanders. Far from it. Simply stated, Trump is a charlatan. Sanders, most decidedly, is not.
What I said — and what I mean — is that Trump’s followers (or many of them, at least), having been deceived by him, should see themselves much more in line with Sanders’ followers. Their economic interests are similar, even if their cultural differences are perhaps numerous.
what are you talking about. I've called out multiple different Trump tweets. I even agreed with you Kenny Powders on something that you said.
I quoted your post and said this..
there have been many things I have posted in the "WTF Did Donald Say Now?" thread calling out stupid tweets.
people should be able to call out Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez' stupidity without deflecting to butwhatabout Trump.
nobody wants to talk about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez not understand how quoting works. she's stupid.
does Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez get criticized for this?

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) was the lone Democrat to vote against a short-term bill to reopen the federal government on Wednesday because of concerns over the bill's funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
First, when you say half the country, you mean less than half and even less than half of voters, so the idea that he was some populist pick is erroneous. He was not the most popular choice for President, he won because of the way the system is setup. And he consistently gets among the lowest approval ratings of any President in modern history. Simply put, he is not a well liked President.
But beyond that, I wasn't saying that what he's done is terrible, that is subjective based on your beliefs, if you're a conservative, you probably think everything he's done is awesome. I'm talking about his leadership qualities. Simply put: he is a lousy leader.
He demonstrates every characteristic of a bad leader while demonstrating none of a good one. Indicators of good leadership are smooth operations, less employee turnover, and plans initiated without major problems. Contrast that to his White House, the operation does not run smoothly, various departments don't know what others are doing, there is consistent confusion. There is the most turnover of any modern President, and most that leave the White House detail how bad it is. All of his plans are not well thought out and full of logistical problems.
Separate the conservative stuff he's done and just view him as a leader. He sucks.
What saddens me (seriously) is that Trump and his cronies in big business and the Republican party have preyed on the legitimate anxieties of a whole group of Americans whose economic prospects are just as bleak as many of those on the other end of the spectrum who have been likewise duped by the Democratic establishment.
This class of [largely] poor, non-urban, relatively undereducated, white males see Trump as their champion. Horseshit! They are not only being used; they are being abused. The guy and his toadies are in it for one reason: to consrtuct an even bigger moat separating them from us*. End of discussion.
They would be far, far better off aligning themselves with Sanders. At least he’d fight on their behalf.
* The moat idea comes from Stephen Brill’s excellent (but intense) study of the dismantling of the entire American political structure in the last 50 years by corporate malfeasance. The book is called Tailspin, and it is a difficult, but worthwhile, read (which is probably why no one will read it). That said, one of the things I appreciated about it — as disturbing as it is — is that in every section Brill includes something worthy about those who are genuinely fighting back.
Where has Socialism been successful?
It doesn’t work yet people like her are trying to make a wave.....
She will be a one hit wonder!
No offense Ciaban, but the "Trump is so pro-Israel that he couldn't possibly be a white nationalist" is probably the least convincing argument you can make in an effort to defend Trump.
There might not be a country on Earth that is embodies the white nationalist dream more than Israel. It makes all the damn sense in the world that right-wingers/white nationalist Americans support Israel. Just think about it for one second. If you can't figure it out, let me know!
Cortez saying the World will end in 12 years?
Is this lady for real?
That is your future DEM leaders.....
Far less crazy than burying your head in the sand and pretending like climate change isn't happening and isn't a serious concern because...you like oil a lot?
Seems the worm has turned, Dems looking to get rid of her as quick as possilble.
