AOC: We have 500 million people in America.
AOC: Here is my FAQ for all your haters.
People: Lol, this is dumb. Is she trolling?
AOC: That is false and Republican propaganda. That FAQ was edited. "Removes the FAQ from her website."
People: Oh, we can just archive that link and see if it actually exists.
AOC: oh my god you can do that???????????
dbroncos78087 sees nothing outrageous with the plan. This seems like blindful ignorance. Nothing outrageous? There isn't even enough contractors, construction workers, electricians, etc., on planet Earth that can fulfill her agenda of replacing just the buildings. This doesn't require any level of intellect. It's basic understanding that you should be aware of instead of acting biased because she has a (D) by her name. Secondly, you are putting millions of people out of work by doing this. If you own a restaurant, you need to replace your stoves. Electric stoves aren't capable of replicating what a gas stove can do for many reasons. Want to barbecue with propane? Yeah, no barbecuing for you. Third, it also states that economic security should be provided to everyone.. including those who DO NOT want to work. Maybe you don't have a job but how is this not outrageous? Yeah, let me take a flight to Hawaii and then be "unwilling to work." What a life indeed. Fourth, high speed rails to "replace" air travel. Yeah, good idea. Not like we don't get lots of imports from other countries through air travel. Want to go to China? Take the Hogwarts Express (does that use gas? Asking for AOC). Fifth, I can go on and on but it seems you are totally biased. Her own party won't even sound off on how ridiculous it is. Mitch will force a vote on this 'Resolution' soon. Let's see who is dumb enough to vote yes and show their stupidity. Even if every single proposal is completed, does she not realize that China doesn't give a lick about her Green New Deal? You would have to force every country to abide by this or else you're putting the USA in a severe economic disadvantage. It's funny because there is nothing in the Resolution that states how it would be done in a way that is actually feasible. It's like going to Middle School and the teacher tells you to come up with the most ******** fantasy story and write it down. But according to you, nothing outrageous. Lol, that's funny.
"College should be free."
Degrees are an asset. If everyone has a certain asset and there is a limited use for that asset, the asset is worth less. Having free college means more degrees, means lower wages for those employed (since there will be an abundance in replacements) and more people unemployed. It's stupid to say college should be free. It should be more affordable but it's an investment you make. Don't blame anyone because you chose to major in liberal arts or comic book studies and put yourself in a boatload of debt because you also decided to stop by your Starbucks for some $5 latte. (And yes, I had a friend who went to college with me who majored in animation arts, ate out after class almost every day, and was in major debt). If you can't afford college, don't go to college. You don't even have to these days in some aspects and still make just as much. There are people who work 2-3 jobs to pay off their tuition and resorted to part-time student to fit those jobs into their schedule. Or just whine about how much it costs because you chose to make poor decisions.
We are opening up into a global economy whether you like it or not. The country with the most assets will be the best off as it will pull in more resources from the economy. It's good for the country to have an educated work force.
It's also good for the country to have a strong purchasing power out of it's residents. Saddling its citizens with crippling debt is not good for an economy that is predicated on purchasing.
And nobody should have to work 2-3 jobs to pay off tuition. That's sign number one of a broken system. Nevermind that if that's what it takes to pay off tuition then you have a problem. As that shows that the system is broken because there are simply not enough jobs for everyone to work 2-3 jobs. More demand for jobs would mean lower wages for those employed yada yada yada.
Well I would never make fun of the blind. I don't care what one thinks about AOC's policies, the notion that she is not attractive is foolish.
I have been trying to not waste breath on people who equivocate about it being ok for Hitler to MGGA (Make Germany Great Again).
Russia and China are both huge threats on the world stage. Both countries could hold their own against us militarily and China especially economically.
More importantly, both of those countries are trying their damndest to equal us in global influence. This is done in many ways (Russians in Syria and Iran, Chinese aggressiveness on the South China Sea and towards Taiwan).
Anything that wastes time and assets in our government benefits them.
Talking and debating the Green New Deal wastes valuable time. Any money spent on this silliness wastes valuable assets. Pumping billions into climate change (when they don't) is another waste of assets. The more we do this, the more they like it.
Spending untold time and energy arguing about and passing laws regarding diversity, inclusivity, gay policies, abortion, drugs laws, gerrymandering, voter issues, who uses what bathrooms, what gender do you feel like on Tuesday, what pronouns to use etc. ………
………wastes incalculable time to accomplish nothing. Our enemies love that since they don't concern themselves with this.
………makes us look ridiculous on the world stage and erodes our influence
………Wastes incredible amounts of money
………Gets useless politicians elected
………accomplishes nothing in the end
That's pretty much what I meant when I said the Russia and China are loving the direction is going.
121 pages and counting. AOC is a bad *** and nobody should doubt that.
She is as polarizing as Trump, and in modern politics that is powerful.
I don't agree with they way she wants to do things but people implying she is stupid are just as wrong as the ones who were saying it about Trump.
