I used to burn about 10-11 cord of firewood every year. We put a ductless mini split in a few years ago and it has cut the wood consumption down by close to half.

Peggy's Cove is really nice. There was a plane crash there a while back. SwissAir 111. There was a rumor that there was 5 million in diamonds aboard but they've never been found.

And Crovash is right, Cape Breton is beautiful and so is PEI. Winter is for the faint of heart of heart though. The winter on '15 we got 550 cms of snow

A client of mine is a professional photographer. Travels all over the world. He's been to some tiny, uninhabited island way off the coast of Nova Scotia where there is a small herd of wild horses descended from some shipwreck years ago. The survivors let the horses loose when the were rescued and somehow they have survived for many years. He's been there a few times to photograph the horses and has some unbelievable photos.I think he gets there via some special plane and needs permission from the Canadian government. I know it sounds like a far fetched story, but I've seen his photos. Everything on the island looks untouched. The name of the island escapes me but it is out there.

I know many people who travel from Jersey, Conn to work in Manhattan and their travel time is about 2 hours each way. Great thing for phones now were you can watch movies,listen to music and play insane amount of games and be online.

I live in the Pelham area of the Bronx and work in lower Manhattan, so my train ride is about an hour and 15 minutes each way. I pay $121 each month for the train alone.

I love nyc and it’s craziness and it can be a pain on the *** at times, but i tried living in other places before and ended up coming back to nyc. I tried San Francisco, Chicago, Virginia, San Diego and while all those places have their pros, I just prefer NYC even with their ****** weather.

Yeah it's called Sable Island. There is a caretaker but that's it. Very few people have been on it, your client is pretty lucky.

Yeah, that's the island now that you mentioned the name.

That caretaker must be a lonely guy. Maybe he's working on the great Canadian novel.

My client has been there at least three times on photo shoots. I don't know how he gets there. He did mention that small planes can land on the beach at certain times of the year. He mentioned that at times food there is so scarce the horses actually feed on each other…weakest member of the herd.

The photog is a real interesting guy.Travels so much, he says he has no home. He's an Iranian or and Iraqi (not sure which) and has been all over the world. Every time he comes in I'm mesmerized by his photos. He last project was decorating some billionnaire's lodge in Montana with photos. (Wouldn't tell me who.). When you open the massive front door you see a photo of a grizzly standing up in the water in Alaska. He said he waited over two hours to get the shot.

There are a lot if interesting people and places out there.

I’d argue that Laura Bush was right up there but yeah MIchelle was great. And somewhat agree on the over-praise. The faction of people who genuinely suggest her for a presidential candidate without having any public office or thorough policy experience are as bad as Trump enablers in 2015-16

And You should have seen the 8 years of email forwards I got from my conservative friends and family about her. Side by sides of her and a gorilla, her and Obama with bones in their noses to compare Obamacare with being a witch doctor, poorly timed photos of her and calling her an unwomanly First Lady,....there was a lot. Kudos if you avoided it because it was disgusting.
