Exactly, the officer felt in danger even though he wasn’t in any, so it’s possible to fear something that wasn’t going to happen.

Even your admit Castile was not going to shoot the officer, yet he was afraid of being shot anyway. Same thing with AOC.

rape and violence are not the same, many many incidents of violence from men that had nothing whatsoever to do with any possibility of rape.

you don't know that and neither did the officer. he knew the persona had a gun. he then told the person not to reach. at that point, stop reaching, for anything, period.

But we do, you yourself said Castile wasn’t going to do anything. Just because the officer didn’t know doesn’t mean we don’t, we have the benefit of hindsight and using it we see Castile was not reaching for his gun and had no intention of shooting the officer.

It’s the same with AOC. She didn’t know at the time what they were going to do to her, you know now but she didn’t then.

the officer himself at the time did not know that, but he did know the person had a gun. that causes a reasonable fear.


why would AOC be afraid of being raped when finding out people were storming the Capitol in something related to the election, wanting to overturn the election. nothing to do with raping anyone.
