Nowhere in that passage did it refer to the military that we have today. I don't believe that getting pregnant to get out of deployment is a problem in the military. I'm sure that having females in the service that this happens occasionally, but very little is probably intentional and not really all that much of a problem. Why you might ask……because the American military today is strictly volunteer. Women that are in the military want to be in the military. They know their mission and they get their responsibility. So while they may get pregnant (given the fact that they are women), I doubt that very much of that is intentional.

Using military service to offset college expense is a good idea and a nice compromise as to paying off the cost of college. It's like a reverse of the GI Bill. However, numerous graduating students coming out of college in their early to mid 20s (some 30s) would not WANT TO GO into the military at that stage of their lives and would do whatever they could to avoid it…hence the pregnancy option for females. If you don't think this would happen you are very naive.
Get the difference……want to go (volunteers) – not want to go (forced to go to offset college expense)??? See the point??? (Puerile QMs)
