Are you talking about Cortez? I don't think you know her situation then. She won the Democratic primary for her district and will be in the actual election, where she will face Joseph Crowley, who is running under the Working Families party.

Which is why this full court vilification of her from Conservatives is so funny. They are clearly scared and shook by her so they brought out the full court press of hate to try and tear her down, but she's likely not even going to win her election because she won when 10% of her district voted in an off year.

I knew they had nominated him but I though that he decided not to run... did he change his mind?

What? You mean we finally did it! We elected someone who doesn’t know everything about every issue? Well I guess it was bound to happen eventually. I just thought we would make it to 2100 before that happened.

It appears I did not know the situation. He was nominated but says he isn't running however his name will still be on the ballot for their party due to laws governing party nominations. A weird situation.

I’ll hold you to it. Crowley is on the ballot, albeit not exactly as an independent . Since he has endorsed her, however, I doubt he’ll run an effective campaign. Neverthless, for the sake of the argument, I’m still going to hold you to it.

Meh. Excuses, excuses (what’s the old addage? “good players make adjustments; bad players make excuses”). Ms. Ocasio-Cortez won.

Maybe it was not a great campaign, but it certainly was an effective one...she did what she had to do.

Both sides always say this because of the sole reason that they don’t like the other sides policy views.

There is always Biden whom always appears to poll well and Sanders whom is incredibly popular despite him not truly being in the Democratic Party from the true sense of the word.

Warren is fairly popular as well. And with the huge surge in youth involvement, it is incredible likely a younger crop of people will start entering the mainstream view.

Conservatives key leaders are terrified of people like Bernie, because he wants to hit the super wealthy in the one true area they care about. That’s why they are scrutinizing the hell out of AOC. They did the same thing for Bernie when they tried to gin up that university scandal involving his wife. They know socialistic programs are polling well, and the word is losing its bogey man status. So they are on an all out affront to stop this dead in it’s tracks.

AOC seems like she is interested in the right ideals right now, but she does appear to have her fair number of screw ups and somebody should pull her aside and tell her she needs to stay away for a bit to fine tune her nuanced knowledge. Because it is truly not a good look, whether you care or not. You don’t have to be an expert, because you have subject matters for that. But you have to be able to speak accurately to your main vision.

he isn't running a campaign... seriously dude... I know you are joking but get real... the turnout of that primary was laughable... no one has had a reason to vote in a dem primary in that district for over 20 years.

I give her credit for going out and getting the votes but honestly it was his lack of a campaign that lost it... kind of reminds me of another presumptive favorite in that not to far past … hmmmm
