No, he hasn't. That's just how you (and others) are interpreting it.

He is saying that she went from being a bartender to a a very outspoken politician overnight.

He's talking about qualifications for her current gig. Not talking negative about being a bartender.

More, yes, but way way down from before. But I've spent a lot of time in the south over the years and it's WAY better now than it was in the past. Coastal city folk still think it's hillbillies everywhere.

Actually most of the racism I've seen in the Bay Area is from minorities, and it was VERY in your face. I was at a gas pump in oakland next to the owner of the Raiders (and his stupid *** haircut) filling his Vette, when a white dude in a suit pulls in to a pump one way when a black woman in a toyota was coming the other way for the same pump. She popped out of her car and yelled "Just cuz your *** is white and Trump's in the mother****in white house don't mean you can take my pump!" The white guy responded, also loud, "I was waiting right there for this pump and I didn't vote for the mother****er!" I turned and looked at Mark Davis and it didn't look like he even noticed what was happening. I'll never forget that. Too funny.

Lol. Honestly, what is he saying that is wrong? She was a bartender, therefore likely good at making cocktails. Which is what she was doing literally right before she was elected.

When the truth becomes an insult, you need to ask yourself if you're naive or just molding the narrative.

If you're not picking up on that....well, that's on you.

Yea, in Atlanta for a few months, it most definitely jumped out to me. I'm saying this completely neutral, it's not an insult to the south, it's just their normal is a lil diff than other areas. It's also very normal for people to be very friendly, smile and say hi to strangers, again from a neutral emotionless perspective.

I've spent time in Austin too, super liberal city yet I still even felt a little there. It's just a lil diff baseline, that's all. I'm from Cali, our base line is super chill and liberal, even in red counties, so that's my bias too. 2 way street.

I pay attention to everything. Always have.

I haven't been fully engaged in some of the BS in this thread, but that 400% isn't saying there was a 400% increase in minority owned business in one year but that the rate of increase went up 400%.

So if one year the number of new black owned business was 1, if the next year it was 4, that's 400% increase year over year. Not that one year there were 1000 total black owned businesses and the next year there were 4000. That would be a 400% increase in the number of businesses. One is WAY easier than the other.

Got to read how they are defining the stats. It's not a lie, it's statistics.

Atlanta is way better than it was, but yeah, it's a bit of a hot spot, but it's also got a pretty liberal base now. Not near as much as Austin though. But again, all of them are better than the past.

I'm sorry man. With my line of work I spend a shitload of time in the SE. I also pay attention and I vehemently disagree with your evaluation of the racial environment there.

If you aren't expecting it, looking for it or have the mindset that's how it is...you'd walk away with an entirely 180 outtake.

My cousin live in Compton, she said they be hating on her too cuz everyone know what about to come. People gonna lose their neighborhoods they grew up in.

That's why I feel that we need to really prioritize making sure people from the area also have a chance to benefit if their area benefits, not just have to move out and watch their slum prosper without them. Allowing straight gentrification is not a good thing. This should be a priority for us Americans as how to allocate our tax money, these are things we should be diacussing, not which cousins husbands sister of Trump spoke to which Russian business man, or whatever stupid crap dominates headlines.

That's all fine, the point is the guy is saying it as an insult, not as an observed fact. I don't necessarily have an issue with him taking those shots, but don't take shots and then 3 pages later claim you never took shots. That's what I called him out on, not wether his shots were accurate or warranted.
