Are you kidding me with this? Nearly every politician lies for personal gain and Trump is like the HGH version of a typical lying politician. Just look at the series of lies about the Trump Tower meeting alone.

There was no meeting. Ok there was a meeting but no Russians. Ok there may have been a Russian. Ok there may have been 6 Russians but it was to talk about child adoptions, no collusion and Don Jr wrote the statement. Ok well actually Trump wrote the statement and they discussed the election but no collusion. Ok actually they colluded to get damaging info on Hillary, but collusion isn’t a crime anyway.

...so what lie of self preservation will be next? And that was only on ONE TOPIC. The guy churns out lies constantly for self preservation.

Misleading the public? He spent his whole campaign misleading the public about a rigged system and dozens of other things. He said unemployment rates (dropping from 12 to 4.8 under Obama) were fake and then when they dropped to 4.3 under his presidency he bragged about it nonstop.

You’d have to be delusional to say ANY politician isn’t lying or misleading the public, but you’d have to be blind, deaf, dumb and maybe comatose to make the claim about Trump.

The guy is not a politician, he speaks in hyperbole, he speaks off the cuff without a teleprompter. He's also vulgar and says many inappropriate things. He's different. Is he "presidential?" Consider this…

Hillary Clinton stated on the Supreme Court appointee that (paraphrasing) "he would take us back to the 1850s." There was no mention of slavery. Yet, everyone and I mean everyone, put the slavery tag into the equation. Both sides. The way she said it was intentional and planned and the effect was what she had wanted. This is politics. Getting the intended results without ever really mentioning what those results are while paving a clear path to deniability. The democrats are masters at this. Especially the Clintons. Trump is out of his class in this area. Obama was fine as long as he read the teleprompter. As soon as he got off the script, his "smoothness" evaporated.

Trump ius just abysmal in this area.

Personally, i hope Trump does not run in 2020. If he has to compete in a primary (has this ever happened? I Dunno.) I would vote for someone else. He does a lot of good but he is too divisive and I think the other side (which includes most of the people here) have lost their perspective. He has done a lot of good things we can all grow upon. Some of you need to give him a chance…probably not going to happen.

I still believe the country moves forward better under republican control. Maybe another republican can unseat him.

Well that is blatantly false. He misleads the public all the time. He flat out lied about Stormy Daniels. That is misleading the public and lying for personal gain. We are on example one and you are shown to be completely wrong on that. Do you really want me to go through some more?

He said more people watched the inauguration than ever, which was false.

He said "look what happened last night in Sweden" despite the fact nothing had happened the night before in Sweden. So that is false.

He said Obama bugged Trump tower, which is false.

He said America pays the most in taxes of any nation in the world, which is false.

He said he personally witnessed thousands cheering 9/11, which is false.

He said crime is rising, which is false.

He said it was a Democrat law that forced him to separate families at the border, which is false.

He said Paul Manafort had nothing to do with his campaign, which is false.

He said at the end of 2017 that his administration had signed more legislation than anybody, which is false (in fact, he signed the least amount of legislation of any post-WWII President)

He said he never said that Russian didn't interfere with the election, which is false.

He said you need ID to buy groceries, which is false.


That is like a dozen things off the top of my head. He is wrong about a ton of things, every single day. He consistently makes false statements. I'm glad you would vote for someone else, but it's troubling to me that the reason you wouldn't vote for him is you think the other side has lost perspective when you are saying Trump is a truthful person. Because it shows the level of your bias, and it is staggering.

true, true. He marvels at how he could shot someone in the face on 5th ave, and still be cherished by his base. Something an opportunist or con man will bend to his benefit, like Trump is doing now. And his mark is defending him.

Well if they ignore the fact that he has cheaped people in the past, contractors, students at his school, they aren't going to change now, no matter how many postings and facts. Life is to short spend time trying to wake up people who don't want to and get pissed with you for trying.
