How's your sabbatical coming?

Being great on social media and having a crap ton of people follow you (millenials) because they have no clue how the world works (yes, a bunch of people are dumb in this country) doesn't mean you aren't stupid. Just read her proposals. They don't seem like much thought was put into it on a scale that a country should. And for the record, I don't disagree with everything she says. There is corruption in the government and I would like to see AFFORDABLE Universal Healthcare. I also believe we should be as environmentally friendly as possible (it's growing but it is still a work-in-progress in terms of innovation), but her ideas as to do so are not feasible and seems like a recipe to DESTROY this country.
1) College doesn't make you educated. That's a lie. You can educate yourself on your own free time.
2) I never said they should be in crippling debt. Again, that is your opinion and it is incorrect. Notice I said, "If you cannot afford" and also, "It is an investment." College isn't for everyone. Many tech companies are starting to move away from degrees and there are many freelance jobs available that don't require degrees.
3) Nobody should work 2-3 jobs to pay off tuition? Yeah, go ahead and be lazy then. I've never stated that it should be the norm but for many people, working 2-3 jobs while going to school part-time is how they manage to stay off being in debt and also getting an education. You seem to want to penalize those who do make the hard sacrifices to achieve what they want. Also, "there aren't enough jobs for people to work 2-3 jobs." Lol, the #1 problem in this is you think that everyone should have access to free college, right? I'm advocating for AFFORDABLE college. If you cannot afford it, don't do it. If you cannot afford to pay for driving classes, don't do it. These are fundamental basic language being spoken. In any sense of the word, college shouldn't be looked at as an automatic pathway to success but for those who believe they can benefit off that investment. Plenty of people DO NOT benefit from graduating college and that is why they end up in massive debt, unable to find the job they expected, and are saddled with a situation where we are now talking about paying off their debt.
I levy all sorts of those insults towards plenty of Republicans, often merely resorting to calling them big dumb smooth-brained idiots! But that's just because we disagree on the politics and I feel like insulting people who I feel are actively ruinous. I just think they had bad politics. With AOC there's always a whole other level attached to it. People truly don't believe she has any business doing what she's doing. She's illegitimate.
You can say AOC has accomplished nothing and is just a big ol' dumb idiot, but I mean...no one has gotten the progressive message out there as readily and easily as she has (sans Sanders and his 2016 run). The proof is in the pudding. The things she wants are more popular than anyone could've imagined 5 years ago. Her impact is undeniable, regardless of whether or not you think that impact is good or bad. She's having a tremendous and undeniable impact, so when people start pretending like she's incapable of accomplishing anything...well, that's just wrong.
She's doing something right.
I don't disagree with her politics at all. Her politics isn't the problem. I love her calling out the corruption in our government and the fact that Universal healthcare isn't more affordable. I have a problem with her lies, deception, and simply statements provided with no facts. Saying there are 500 million Americans (takes five seconds to debunk that) is a joke. I have no problem with her politics, as I've stated. If she could just be more idealistic with how she plans to fund them, I'm all up for it. Again, people support her because people want the easy things in life. Federal guarantee, universal healthcare, tax the wealthy 70% because we can, free economic security for those unwilling to work. Why would ANYONE not support these ideas if they aren't looking to be productive individuals? So no, problem ain't the politics. Her ideas have been proposed before by other people. Problem is how she plans on funding it and for that, she has been terrible.
The easy things in life include universal healthcare.
Shouldn't we be trying to make life more affordable though? I get working 80 hours a week does it for some, but many of us realize we only have 1 life, and spending it in an office, away from loved ones and adventure, is a waste. Sure there is a balance, but we can't continue this wage stagnation while the cost of EVERYTHING skyrockets. Something has to give.
