Reacting with fear in what way? By going across state and shooting others after adding to the danger of the situation themselves?

By pushing down innocent protestors or shooting them with rubber bullets? By attacking large groups of protesters?

I think the difference is obviously context. I think there would be more sympathy for those storming the capital if cops just started unloading and killing them for example. The response from law enforcement (while that’s literally what was being protested) was often the bigger issue at the time. In mn the rioting and looting started after cops attacked large group of protestors that were not looting, killing, attacking for example. I think many were sympathetic to business owners and in fact many peaceful protestors spent tons of times providing help to businesses during the day but extreme action from police was the bigger issue at the time to many as it often instigated the situations (here that’s not remotely the case).

No because he pivots and moves goalposts like you do. When his point about AOC thanking capitol police was debunked, he moved on to something else to vilify her. You don't get to say something categorically untrue and follow it up with "nothing to see here, move along" when its blown out of the water.

Yes he did. Considering how much you enjoy semantics and attempted mental gymnastics, I'm not surprised you would come rushing to his defense. Who cares who she specifically thanked? She thanked the Capitol police for their actions on that day, a point in which Special tried to suggest didn't happen.

Its ridiculous. Who didn't she apologize to? Who didn't she thank individually? Give me a break. Let's all tell the woman how she was supposed to feel and god forbid, in and amongst all that havoc, she confused someone for someone else.

Inconsequential considering what is going on in the rest of politics at the moment but just another way to say "Look at what a horrible ***** AOC is" without saying it directly.

Don't have Hillary to kick around anymore but they have AOC. She is their safe space. If Trump blunder something, talk about AOC. If Trump gets caught in a lie, talk about AOC. If a part of the republican base raids the Capitol Building, talk about AOC. Notice they really got hot and heavy about her after Jan. 6th.
