The issue is how insane this approach is given the context. It's not about AOC is perfect and Trump is bad, it is the specific examples you argue and how your argue them that is disgusting to many.

I think she'd be worse at answering it with authority than people who are political consultants who come up with ideas to maximize influence.

I doubt a woman fearing rape would help or hurt their political career. Do "good republican" politicians look forward to rape or fear it? I bet I have a pretty accurate answer, and Special wouldn't like it.

Pointing out his hypocrisy in comparison is still relevant to the discussion (it was in the post I responded to actually) and isn’t some both sides bs with little validity to play games, I can specifically point to many worse things than this done by him if needed for the discussion. It’s not going to land I am sure but the validity in what I am pointing out is there regardless and I can dig into it if needed.

try paying attention. she can fear whatever wants, how many times do I need to say this. but this fear is not justified, there was no evidence before or after January 6th that that was going to happen.

she thought that she was going to be raped.

if AOC also thought that aliens were going to abduct her January 6th, would people really think that was going to happen too.


if she actually feared being raped why did it take months for that to come out. she had no problem expressing fears shortly after January 6th, but months later oh yeah she thought she was going to be raped too.

She can't fear whatever she wants without you attacking her for doing so though. That is pretty clear to anyone paying attention because you keep criticizing her for it. You claiming it was not justified is simply your opinion, people are afraid of plenty of things without evidence that anything is going to happen. That's why the incident with a cop killing a black man came in, he justified his action despite no evidence he was going to be shot/killed. You have shown tons of outrage over her feeling something while defending killing a black man for the same thing. Her feelings being what they are have you more upset than a black man dying, yikes.

bold is not true and routinely happens with people who do not pay attention to details. that is why the comparison to Castile failed, he literally told the officer that he had a gun. that is called evidence to support the fear. that is often the case with shootings and why many are often justified.
there are also fears from police that are not justified, like the shooting of Walter Scott. WS was running away, there was no justification for that officer to fear WS, the officer was not justified in that fear or that shooting.

She had reasons to be fearful on the 6th as well which has been shown plenty. Just like the cop had fear because a gun was around. Neither had a specific immediate threat of being raped/killed but both had some fears about it. Everything is the same yet you justify killing a black man and are outraged AOC has fears similar to many other women in extreme environments like that especially. This is what really sets you off into a rant, her feelings not a dead human. We are all paying attention, don't worry.
