Last time was the ACL, this time it's the meniscus. Khabib told me he hopes to be back in October. Freak injury while sparring, a tweak.
“@CKERRY94: @arielhelwani Bader vs teixera 2” seems to be the overwhelming consensus pick. timing works and there's a good backstory, IMO.
Of course he did, and that's on the coaches over at AKA. The interesting this is, this comes only weeks after White said AKA gym is stuck in the stone age as far as training goes. At this point, I'm not expecting Velasquez to make it to his fight vs Werdum.
By the way, nothing against Makdessi, but he has no business fighting Cerrone...
I don't want to see Bader/Teixeira 2. The problem is the LHW division is pretty thin on talent right now. Most of the fights available for Bader are rematches and the ones he hasn't fought are injured. You add Jones' problems and the division is a mess.
In other news, Michelle Waterson, aka, the karate hottie, has signed with the UFC and will make her debut vs Angela Magana on TUF 21 finale.
AKA is on blast right now.. Doubt they change anything though.
I'm not holding my breath either on Cain making the fight.
I like the rematch for Bader but not for Glover. If Bader wins he might get a shot at the winner of Rumble vs DC. If Glover wins it's not really doing anything for him.
Few notes from tonight's Nugz: Team Bader not interested in Teixeira rematch, Schaub weighs 240 and the lhw is still a go ...
That's weird tbh. Why wouldn't he want a rematch?
Its amazing that boxing can still raise that much money for last nights snooze fest. If that was the UFC the crowd would be booing a lot.
Yea I am glad I went to a party last night to watch it. I would have been mad if I payed for that at my place. It was an average fight, Pac being aggressive 90% of the time but couldnt land anything. Once Mayweather fights his last fight, boxing is about done.
Boxing is on its last leg tbh
Jones might not fight again per his manager.

I highly doubt that he never fights again but if he were to hang it up this point I could understand why. He hasnt handled the spot light well at all and if stepping away gets his life back on track then I hope the best for him.
He will be back for sure because he probably blew through his money

Not sure lyoto will make his way back up for another chance to challenge. I know he got beat down by Luke but it liked it was from slipping, not saying that he should have been able to stand back up but still

Watching 3 old JDS fights vs Cain and stepie
Jesus I feel so bad for him, he's taken such a beating I really don't think he will ever be the same.
JDS can take a beating like no other but it would have been best for him to lose easier in those Cain fights.
He's got so much heart it's ridiculous, he was also landing good shots in the 5th round before Cain finished him.
Though after watching his last fight he's doesn't get off the clinch very well anymore, he almost welcomes getting hit to (he thinks?) tire out his opponent. I want to see his fight more but that's me being selfish. I'm almost positive he will fight again. JDS vs Reem is a fight I would like to see
I do not want to see JDS get to the point that Chuck did. I'm hoping JDS has made some good money and that he can retire in good health.
Reporter asks if White, Fertitta, Epstein, Rogan etc will also be tested same way. White and Fertitta say they are willing to be tested, NP.
I doubt they will get tested, I honestly don't see why they should but lol of they fail. Should through Rogan in the boat also
BREAKING: Daniel Cormier vs. Alexander Gustafsson will be the next UFC light heavyweight title fight. Date and venue TBD.
I rewatched Brocks last fight (vs Overreem). Brock did not look like himself at all. He showed no power in his few takedown attempts. He never did his normal frieght train double leg take down. and looked afraid to get hit even in the first minute of the fight. I wonder if Brock just came back way too soon. If he took more time to heal before coming back could he have been a real threat again?
