This means one of two things
A: Aldo is going to be out awhile
B: they are trying to milk the Conor cow a little more & him vs Faber will be huge
C: Connor could be the one that's injured (hearing his knee is giving him issues) and be out a while. Being the coach gives him time to recover while keeping his name in the spotlight.Quote:

I actually think this was the plan all along. That "right place/right time" backstage incident with Faber and Connor is starting to make sense. If Connor losses then he gets a high ranking Faber and still does the UF while staying in the spotlight, if he wins (which he did) he still stays in the spotlight and gets on tv and a fight with Aldo is still happening. No matter what it sells but their little hug fest was a bit of a joke, clearly staged. The UFC knew a fight with Faber would sell and they could spin it as a high ranking opponent and Connor wanting to get some revenge on Alpha Male for the loss.Quote:
