I bet White is hoping for a draw.

Just more ammo if he loses honestly. They will play him out to be some no holds barred tough guy who fought even after everyone around him said dont do it. Sorry but the interim title on the same card is really a joke at this point. What else is there to say besides has this ever happened before? Has a interim title been made when the current champion is 100% healthy and can fight?
If McGregor loses he's pretty much done. He would get fed some soft fights to hype him up again.
The interim fight is a joke. It's getting hard to take the UFC seriously. You would think that for a big event like UFC 200 there would be ridiculous fights and multiple title fights.
Anyone catch the Koreshkov/Henderson fight? I think Koreshkov might be ready for a jump in competition and he is only 25.
Brock Lesnar gets 1 year suspension, 250k fine, win against Mark Hunt changed to a no contest for failed drug test.

The Nevada Athletic Commission will not grant Cain Velasquez medical clearance for UFC 207. Werdum is on stand by stating he will fight anyone with no news yet.
December 2016 Josh Barnett flagged for a potential USADA doping violation from an out of competition test.
Damn Barnett is a cheater too!? That's a scary dude he looks like a bouncer at a country bar that can't wait for some dude to test him.
Mirko Cro Cop won the inaugural Rizin Openweight Grand Prix having defeated Hyun Man Myung in the opening round and then defeating King Mo on December 29th. On December 31st he defeated former Sumo wrestler Baruto Kaito and later that night defeating Amir Aliakbari.
Brock Lesnar officially suspended for 1 year by USADA. Lesnar is eligible for a return on July 15, 2017.
I didn't know Mirko was out there still banging. His kicks in the pride days were Vicious that's correct I spelled it with a capital V.
I'm sure Lesner doesn't care about a suspension. I doubt he fights again.
Pride and TUF got me hooked on MMA so anytime a Pride vet does something or has a fight coming up, I usally get excited. I really enjoy Rizin FF so you might want to take a look at them if you like the old days of fighting.
Also onto Brock, if the payday is there and Dana needs a headline I am sure Brock would fight again he will just have to adjust his cycle.
I haven't checked out Rizin FF. Is it all open tournament?
Just wanted to remind everyone Tito Ortiz and Chael Sonnen are fighting this Friday on Spike :hi5:
I'm gonna catch that fight. Not sure what to expect. It's another money fight for Bellator with names. Since 2006 Ortiz is 3-8-1 and Sonnen is 3-4 since 2010 and those 4 losses he's been finished. If this fight happened like 12 years ago it would be interesting.
Not sure where to post this but did you see the interview with Dana White? He said that Conor is headed for an epic fall for his latest stunt. I know he is controversial and that's what brings him ratings. When a guy talks this bad about his employer it has to get old sooner or later. You can't bite the hands that feeds you. I like brash and arrogance but he's overboard. He's a huge draw but he thinks he's bigger then the company. What do you guys think?

Honestly he is promoting and he loves the money. Thing is he wont make his money unless he is fighting in the UFC. He cant box without them signing off and he is under contract with them. Aldo was going through the same stuff and the same issues. I sometimes feel Conor will never defend a title honestly.
I think Connor came up with his own promotion company. I just don't understand his intent when it comes to fighting. As an MMA fighter he brings in a huge draw and following, but he is far from GOAT status. He could line himself up for major fights that make money but its still not making Boxing money. As a boxer he is not nearly anything that real fans would want to see. He can be brash and arrogant all he wants but real boxing fans know its a joke what he is doing and wouldn't think he has anything to offer to the sweet science. If he wanted to take boxing serious he may be a decent boxer but shooting for the stars and fighting the GOAT in boxing is way to much for him.
All this is true IMO but he makes the most amount of money if he can get himself into a fight with Money. Even real boxing fans would tune in for the pure possibility of a massive beat down from Floyd or Conor happens to land a shot to put him out.

Paul Daley vs Rory Macdonald for Bellator 179 in May.
Just a reminder, Fedor vs Mitrione are fighting this Saturday on SpikeTV.
Fedor is a beast man hard to pick against him
Cris Cyborg granted retroactive TUE, cleared of potential anti-doping violation.

Well this should set up a title fight now with de Randame but de Randamie is said to be keeping her options open about a possible rematch with Holm after surgery.
Cyborg should get the shot at de Randamie
Coupe quick tidbits, its been a slow week.
-Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs. Jessica Andrade official for UFC 211
-Cris Cyborg was officially granted a TUE for whatever she was on
-Chael Sonnen said Tito verbally tapped during there fight at Belator 170

-I am sure everyone has heard Mayweather and Conor is fighting
-Ryan Badder officially signs with Bellator
-War Machine found guilty on 29 charges in assault case
It does appear that Conor will fight Floyd. I'm so not excited for that fight, but for whatever reason I'll be watching anyway. It's going to be a snooze fest, and Floyd will make Conor look completely over matched. The buildup will be nice, but the only real thing Conor could say, is that he would break Floyd in half in a street fight. Which is true....but in a boxing match, it would be like me boxing a strong 10 year old.
Some Quick Hits
-Kelvin Gastelum vs Anderson Silva at UFC 212
-Douglas Lima vs Lorenz Larkin on June 24th for Lima's belt (will be a fantastic fight)
-Scott Coker gave a price for Bellators second ever PPV for the June 24th event........$49.95
I hope Spider rich franklins Gastelum.
-Germaine de Randamie refuses to fight Cyborg because she is a cheat. (Someones scared)

-UFC signs Gokhan Saki (look him up :))
-The UFC and Gegard Mousasi are having contract issues, he only has a short amount of time for non activity in his contract.
Cyborg would scare most opponents. De Ran is in no position to pick her fights.
Gegard could be a free agent pretty soon. He said that they have a fight lined up with him and Rockhold but he said the money isn't right. I am on the side of Gegard on this one. He's been around for a while has an impressive record and should get paid more.
Bellator 180 is tonight. Decent TV card before the PPV. Heather Hardy is the first fight, Phil Davis and Ryan Bader round out the TV card. Some decent matchups on the PPV but mostly names.
