Cro Cop was caught by USADA
More details to come soon

Yeah, all the respect in the world for him, but it was obvious he was hoping the UFC/USADA wouldn't release the results of his failed test.
In other news, Thiago Alves is out of his main even fight with Benson due to a rib injury. Masvidal might be the replacement.
Is what it is. Cro Cop was always a class act, an amzing fighter who normally fought bigger guys, and has some of the nastiest headkicks in the sport. This failed test doesnt do much to his legacy IMO.
On another note what happened to Alves? That dude was one of the best in his division in his mid 20s. Now it seems he cant put together a win streak nor stay healthy. Must have hit his stride to early.
Hey everyone just a reminder. We have 4 fight cards this month so if anyone wants to get into the fantasy game there are several chances to do so. Also 2 are fox cards while 1 is a PPV and the other fight pass so make sure you keep up on the events coming up.
I missed the last fight card with Benson headlining but this month should be a treat for mma fans.
Joe Rogans contract is up in August of next year and he is not sure if he will be back.
http://mmajunkie.com/2015/12/joe-rog...-to-commentary
I for one would be ok with it lol.
Not sure what else Rogan would be up to. His stand up sucks really bad and I'm not sure how his podcast gets in his way. I like Joe because he does talk intelligently about tactics in the ring but he does nut hug fighters. Recently it seems he picks a fighter from the beginning and just one sided talks about the one fighter and heavily promotes one fighter. I speculate that may be told to him by Dana to do so. I grew up watching Joe announcing ufc so I would be kinda said to see him go but then again it's whatever.
I want Joe to stay. He belongs ring side. If he'd drop the nut hugging a little that would be nice but I like him
Agreed 100% with this. I remember he used to talk about the fight and whats going on in the fight, but now he picks a fighter and promotes the hell out of him/her. That act got old really fast.
If he doesn't renew the contract who is the new guy at ringside? Stan? Florian? Bring in someone else like a retired fighter?
They probably bring in Brock since he's so good on the mic lol
Hahaha comedy gold!
We joke about it, but if Dana thought they could sell some wrestling fans on it, he would do it. Kurt Angle was at a Bellator event awhile back and he seems to want to give MMA a try, or he acts like I guess. I am surprised Dana doesnt snag him up to fight Brooks honestly.
Oh I agree but I think its more Coker has no shame. TBH I think he is good long term for Bellator. Sure they put on "circus" fights but there main goal right now is to move the needle since they are on tv and such. The more views, the higher the ratings, the more SPIKE might throw into the company. I think if they can constantly trend upwards and more fighters make there way to Bellator, they cold really be a force in the next 3+/- years. Although until then, this is what we are treated too.
As much as I dont care for Shamrock or Gracie at this point, I will tune in to watch and even though Kimbo is washed up and I dont know what a Dada 5000 is, I will probably still watch and thats what they are trying to get. They are the MMA worlds LFL.
ESPN gave Holly Holm the KO of the year.
Connor came in second place.
Big news.....

Fights in London which will make it hard for Anderson to pass a drug test and even though this was a fight I wanted to see years ago, for some reason I am still kind of excited about it now. Thing is its not a PPV card but the dang fight pass so its still something you have to pay for.
Merry Christmas to all the MMA'ers on the forum
The Holm KO was huge because it was completely shocking Rousey was whopping chicks and then she got deeestroyed in that fight.
Love Anderson but without a doubt I am not watching it because of fight pass.
Merry Christmas to everyone out there as well cheers!!!
Gotta be the money. That fine for his last fight was big so it's a money fight with another name fighter.
I agree although I dont think he is broke by any means, that huge fine took a hit on his account yes, but I think its a pride thing on his part. He still wants to fight and I think he wants people to think that failed test was a fluke and wasnt something he always did.
I saw Holy Holm said she would be open to fighting Cyborg at 140 or 145. That Cyborg would not have to drop down to 135.
UFC 197 title fights headlines
McGregor vs RDA
Holm vs Tate
- Bleacher Report
As of yet UFC has not officially announced it.
If they happen those will be two great fights. I am kind of surprised they are letting Holm fight. Good for her for sticking to her guns on wanting to stay active. Why should a champ have to wait for a challenger?

Ronda Rousey wants more time off, will not fight at UFC 200 in July
Ronda Rousey, the former UFC women's bantamweight champion who fought three times in just under nine months in 2015, won't be quite as active in the Octagon this year.
UFC president Dana White told Yahoo Sports on Tuesday that Rousey has asked for more time off and that she won't fight, as planned, at UFC 200 in July. Rousey is set to star in the remake of "Roadhouse," and the start of filming has been pushed back, White said.
As a result, she asked him for more time off before returning to the Octagon for the first time since she lost her title and perfect record to Holly Holm on Nov. 14.
"The filming of the movie got pushed back," White said. "She could do both, but the question is, should she do both? She could do both, but why should she? The filming is in a time frame where she'd finish before 200, but it would be cutting it too close."
White said that was the reason that he agreed to allow Holm to make a title defense, scheduled for March 5 at UFC 197 against Miesha Tate, instead of making her wait until Rousey was ready. Holm and manager Lenny Fresquez had been pushing for an interim fight from the time it became apparent White was targeting the rematch for UFC 200.
She didn't want to wait that long in order to fight. When Rousey said she was in need of more time to fulfill her other obligations, White said he never hesitated.
The only risk is if Tate beats Holm, because then the Rousey-Holm rematch will be worth far less. But White said it was a risk he was willing to take.
No fighter, White said, has done more for the UFC than Rousey and so he has no problem with her taking all the time she needs. He said he's not sure when she will fight again.
"The way I look at this one is, Ronda has worked her *** off for us for the last three years," White said. "She's been fighting, promoting and building the sport. If anyone deserves the time off, it's her. The night [of UFC 193] Holly said she'd do the rematch and that Ronda deserved it and everything else. So we were holding it for her if she wanted to do it.
"What that woman has done is above and beyond what anyone has done. I mean, it's just unbelievable what she's done in the last three years. Anything we needed, she didn't say no to anything; said no to nothing. She even took over responsibilities somebody else was supposed to have. So when she tells me she wants more time, you know what? She's got it."
She is not in it anymore, we might not see her fight again. Dana can keep talking about movies but lets be honest, Ronda got shutdown and went into an emotional shell in the cage. She was broken before the second round. Maybe if Tate wins the title she comes back.
I think it says a lot of Rousey's character that she takes a L and is now out of it. I think I was under the impression that this persona that she put out of being this tuff lady is more but she has a week personality. She did physically beat fighters you can't take that away, but someone finally put her in her place. She doesn't have it in her anymore shes done. I hope she fights again because I would like to see her get ktfo again.
Ronda did a interview this week. The interviewer was told he can not ask about fighting and that if he asked about fighting Ronda would walk out of the interview.
Lol so much for a interview that people give a crap about
Ronda got what she deserved, was happy to see holm put that ***** in her place. Then like a coward walks away, then two months later she finally congratulates her... Pr stunt. Gonna be nice when someone does the same to mcgregor
I dont get why people always hate on the outgoing athletes, in all sports. I love seeing stuff like Mac vs Diaz press conference. It's a fight, they should be talking ****.
Anyone watch the lower level mma? Last night I watched a bit of Titan FC and RFA. Titan had a good main event
