Did anyone watch Bellator 198 this past weekend? If you like BJJ there were several first round finishes due to tap out. It was actually impressive.
Also Fedor KO'd Mir. I thought that fight would end like that but didn't think that early. Fedor has some pop in his fists. I am glad Chael Sonnen is not in the UFC. After the fight Sonnen had to go in the ring and he put on his WWE "American gangster" persona. It will not work with Fedor because he doesn't speak a lick of English so he was talking for no reason. Fedor had his everyday I don't care look on his face.
It is difficult to understand why Sonnen over plays things at Bellator because I do think he understands promotion very well and might be confused by who the Bellator audience is?
The event was solid but I already dislike Danis. Such a stud on the ground but so sloppy on the feet. Better work on that offensive wrestling. It is funny Sonnen talking crap to Fedor though, I am sure he understands some English but has no interest in **** talking. I dont see how Chael wins that fight, no way he can get it to the ground and his hands are very average.
