I'm a bucks fan and was wondering what you would think that Dennis Schoeder's trade value would be. Next year we will likely need a PG if Knight is looking to get paid. We don't have many valueable assets outside of Parker and Giannis who are untouchable. We have a couple 1st's, Henson, and some other players with unattractive contracts. My trade idea is the our 1st and Henson for Schoerder.

The Hawks have been very smart with their acquisitions and the salary they pay them. They let the market dictate what they end up paying Teague, if they had a replacement Teague would be gone (nevertheless).
I don't see the Hawks being double-booked at point (contract wise), when it's time to pay the German kid. It will be interesting to see who they eventually pick to be the franchise's permanent pg and what they decide to do with the other.

If you believe that the flirtation with Greg was more than just flirtation and that they will make a run at him this off-season, Where does Al fit in long term? Adding Greg who is really good in the post, would give those long range bombers the Hawks have more space and makes sense to what we have seen from the Hawks so far. As of yet Al has not developed consistent 3pt range. And while it did work in SA with Duncan and Robinson (without Robinson having 3pt range), Greg is no Tim and David was superior to Al in every aspect especially defensively.
All this becomes void if the BK is un-lucky enough to finish in the top 3 of the draft and the Hawks can get Towns or Okafor. Just Having trouble seeing How Al fits in with the direction the Hawks are showing, without landing one of those picks. For the record I do think the Hawks are going to make a Strong Attempt to re-sign Milsap if they don't land one of those picks.
As far as what I want the hawks to do? I want them to land a top 3 pick and sign Greg and Jimmy Butler, then re-sign Paul.

I've heard the Knicks as well.... But unless we're getting Exum, an unprotected 1rst or Favors ( not likely), I don't like the packages the Jazz can put together .Quote:

Bucks first rounder is around #8. Hard to say we part with that. Unless a pick swap. Still be grim. We could move up after lottery drawing from #8. So a bit risky. Prefer Dunn then Teague but doubt we land Dunn. Bucks also linked to Lawson and Martin as well. Also Teague having ankle troubles this year. So could be risky. Also PG's are a dime a dozen in the league but Bucks and Knicks mainly two teams lacking a PG. MCW been up and down so far. Bucks probably just check and see how the market settles at trade deadline.
Bucks most likely would of had Lawson already but Rockets took him off the market since Beverley got injured. Also now Lakers have Lou Williams on the market. I wouldn't mind a Vasquez and Plumlee for Lou and Tarik Black. Also Rockets were interested in Vasquez this summer as well as Wolves. So if Bucks wanted Lawson most likely Vasquez would be a piece in the deal. Also same for Vasquez to Wolves as a piece for Martin trade.
Sorry friend good pg's are not a dime a dozen. The Hawks won't trade JT for scraps and he's by far the best of the pg's you mentioned on the block. I could see the Hawks going for an unprotected right to swap if a player they thought they could use now came with it. While JTs value is not in the same light it was last year this time, it still should be high as a 27 year old proven all star pg, with no off the court problems and a year and change on a good contract.Quote:

^^^ All and all every trade rumor starts with one team getting over on another. I think the Hawks would prefer to ship JT west, which leads to the Jazz ( hopefully the Wolves get involved). I don't like the package rumored from the Jazz as of now, but read above what I said about how they start.

according to a report by Yahoo's Marc J. Spears that says the Hawks will listen to offers for free agent to be Al Horford in advance of the deadline.
They're listening to Horford offers probably incase he bolts like Aldridge did with Blazers. Even though Aldridge was nice enough to say he was leaving far advance.
The Orlando offer is based around Victor Oladipo
Olaidipo for Teague? Yes please.
Then trade Horford and Korver for picks and we would be ahead in the rebuild.

On NBA countdown last night, everyone thinks Al could be traded to BOS. The package they suggested was 2 1rst round picks ( neither being the BK pick) and David Lee. Only J.Rose defended us saying if you're the Hawks, why would you do that trade? Rose went on to suggest Al and JT for Howard and Lawson. Why would the good natured Hawks want Lawson if they are trying to clear the way for DS by moving JT?
I ask BOS fans to remember Minn got 2 #1 overall picks plus more for 1 year of Kevin Love. While they're is only a half season left on Al's deal, surely Atl can get more than two non lottery picks if Minn got two #1 overall lottery picks.

We'll be specific.... Wiggins just like Simmons was the consensus #1 and you didn't know Bennett would be cut or in the d-league. Just that he was a #1 that was under achieving. Honestly I thought Clev lost their minds picking him first , I wasn't a fan! But all mocks I remember had him going high. Maybe it will be a game of chicken... I'm sure DA put his offer out there... The C's have the 3rd spot and could very well take the 2nd spot in the standings if they stand pat and make no moves...
If no deal happens, and Horford ends up signing elsewhere, I would love to see what the C's offer was if they ever made one...
