the culture is changing for sure. I like the pics, especially Schroeder. If they both start, then surely we'll be able to lose enough games to get into the lottery next year ;) Looks like the Celtics may be trying to out tank us tho

3 2nd round picks now, do we trade back into the 1st round? Jamaal Franklin is still on the board.
Lucas = Noah? Don't know much about him...
Wonder what that meansQuote:

The Dallas/ATL trade is still evolving, sources say
Lol. You cant be serious. He has a decent 3p %, but shooting 43% at thus level surely aint better than Teague. You have to take his weaknesses into account when you watch These highlights. Bad mid range, cant finish at the rim, not a stop and pop shooter. This is an investment pick. Maybe 3 years down the road he could be a full time starter. But, you cant look at a few good plays and crown him the starter. Not happening
We also got Jared Cunningham from the Mavs.
So updated roster:
Horford
Williams
Jenkins
Cunningham
Schroeder
Nogueira
I think we still re-sign Teague and Schroeder backs him up. He'll develop more here than overseas
Jeff Teague/Dennis Schroeder
John Jenkins/Lou Williams/Jared Cunningham
??????????????
Al Horford/????
????/Lucas Nogueira
Not a big fan of the SG crop, interested to see what we do in FA. Tank this season?
I don't think Lou even plays a game this season. I think you let him take his time coming back from a torn acl unless we're making a play off push.
No, I just think everyone underestimates the recovery time needed for an ACL tear, mainly because Adrian Petersen defied all odds, think rose. The Standard recovery time used to be about a year and a half. If we're not competing anyways this season, why rush him back if he's not ready?
so let me understand we now have 3 second round picks?
double post
guys do we have 3 picks in the second round
now I like the draft we get three players and still have three picks
Go all in for Dwight and if that doesn't work out, tank.
The way things are looking at this moment ATL=REBUILD. Ferry went high risk/high reward with the Brazilian and the German. I'm glad Ferry got some height in the draft, for a minute I thought he had seriously mucked up. With the amount of 2nd rd picks the Hawks have, they have a chance to pick the "steal" of the draft..Christian Watford.
Hopefully Chris Paul and Dwight Howard is thinking ATL right now. So many teams tanking.

if your lost with keeping up with the picks this will help
I wanted franklin
Mike Muscala at 44, C 6'11" 230
Another center - Mike Muscala
Raul Neto at 47, PG 6'2" 180. Another guy from Brazil. I'd imagine he won't be coming over yet.
2 PGs 2 Centers
2 Brazilians
Rauuuuuuuuuuuuuuul bit ches!!!
No real fan would post that. Win or lose have some pride. We were the laughing stock of the nba once, and its not happening again just to get some kid who might not even produce. Only one team can win the championship anyway, so should the 29 other teams just stink because they don't think they'll be the 1 team to win the ring? That's insane. If we actually sucked like the hornets or bobcats, then i could see your point. But with a few good pieces and a good supporting cast, that's the difference in a 6th seed from thus season, or potential a top 3 seed next season. It depends in who we add, and how well we run our new system. 44 wins was over achieving, i know we can get to 50+ with some fresh faces and new talent.
Who do y'all want at 50?
James Ennis at 50, SF 6'7" 205
So the Nets have DWill,Joe Johnson, KG,Pierce, and Lopez. Terry included. Now doesnt that look like a lineup that can compete and take a run in the playoffs? Its on paper Of course, but now You see how a well rounded team is better than 2 superstars holding a team together. Much rather go that same route and have a good starting 5 with a dangerous 6th man. A smarter built team.
what is going on man this is crazy. I just fill like we need to get some ballers with that killer mentality.
That team is way over the salary cap, and I doubt the Hawks' owners would do the same. Also on paper, the names look good if this was 4 years ago. Now, how long is KG going to be able to produce, same goes for Pierce, Johnson. Those future picks to C's is going to be good ones.

Ennis going to Heat. Looks like there is another deal in the works for one of the other second-round picks. #ATLHawks
you've got to be pretty ruthless these days in rebuilding an NBA team. The last place you want to be in the NBA is where the hawks have been for the past few years.... good enough to make the playoffs, but not good enough to do anything serious. Not only do you not accomplish anything of value, but you also miss out on the lottery.
