Depends on how much Monroe wants. There were rumors that he wants the max, if that's the case..NAW. Milsap is an asset as a stretch 4 and being able to play a little 3, but I think his value may decrease if he's asked to consistently play the 3.

Yea I like Affalo as well.
This is like the 3rd consecutive year I have said this. A role player the Hawks should sign...... Shuan Livingston! It would allow JT to attack more while Shuan runs the offense.
Teague
Livingston
Kover
Milsap?
Horford?
Not bad!
Another player I think the Hawks should look into if they decide to move Al or Paul on draft night is Marcin Gortat. Also not a star, but he his big, rebounds well, and blocks a few shots.
Now wouldn't this be something for us!Quote:
There have been some recent rumbles on the personnel grapevine that the Hawks will lob themselves into the bidding for Detroit Pistons restricted free agent Greg Monroe. The close ties between Monroe's agent, David Falk, and Falk's former star client Ferry make such rumbles inevitable. Whether that chatter morphs into full-fledged courtship remains to be seen. Atlanta Hawks, Detroit Pistons, Free Agency, Greg Monroe
Ironic if Smith's signing cost them Greg!

Some soon-to-be free agents have shown fondness for the Hawks roster and are intrigued at the prospect of playing with Jeff Teague, Al Horford, and Paul Millsap, making Atlanta an appealing destination, tweets Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio.
With rumors circulating that Irvin wants out of Cle, would you as Hawks fans be willing to make an offer? Jt+ for Irvin?
Irving? I really can't imagine the cavs trading a 22 year old point guard with super star potential.
The rumor is he wants out. The Cavs may not and should not want to trade him, but I highly doubt they will go through another LBJ situation and loose him with little returning. So at the end of the day of he says he wants out and they can't change his mind, I believe they will.
Well I'd be pretty damn happy if we got Irving. I've already got my season tickets for next year lol.
Please actually think about the entire concept before replying.....
This would be a lot to give up, but it has been a very long time since we have had a true superstar. It would also give us more cap room to add a big ( Greg Monroe) piece. Talked with a Cavs fan and his thought is it would take both. Would you as Hawks fan be willing to trade Horford and JT to the Cavs for a package that brought back Kyrie?
As of right now, I'm still accessing value. Looking at what the Hornets got for CP3 and what OKC got for Harden as principles in there deals.
We'll that scratches any Small possibility of A Kyrie trade.....
Cavs land number one again!
If Ferry is trying to move up in the draft ( and I hope he is), I would target Mil at 2 and Orl at 4.
If we stay put, what do you guys think of Hood at 15?
Been hearing rumors that the Kings are looking to trade the 8th pick for D.S, hopefully we keep Dennis.
