The Hawks would only have done it if the pick was right. They would not have done a pick predicted to be in the teens or later.
It could be revisited if the Hawks think they are going to loose Al or plan to trade Milsap. The 76ers do have young bigs that may (or may not) be expendable for DS. If we loose Al or feel we're going to loose him, I'm sure the Hawks would have interest in Embiid (if healthy). If they plan on trading Milsap, Noel becomes interesting. I left out JaHil because outside of punching guys in bars, he's the one they should keep.
They could also be interested in a pick in the 5 to 10 range.
Sixers don't need anymore front court players. What they need is a top flight young PG like Schroder but he's off limits to be the Hawks future pg.Quote:
