Houston would still have leverage, I seriously doubt you'd get Parsons. Two legit starters on a playoff team? In exchange for Josh Smith? Morey would laugh himself to sleep.Quote:

I really kinda dig a lineup with D12, Horford, Smoove, Williams/Korver, Calderon. Looks legit to me.
That back court would get pushed around on defense, and on offense Smith/Horford/Dwight still looks weird to me. D12 is trying to ruin franchises if he thinks he can try to tell them who to add at PG and Forward. How many rings has he won to be creating his own line-up? Let the GM do their job.
We are about to make a big move i fill it. We have been sitting on are hans for some reason.
Iggy is now officially off the free agency list.
After Dwight has made his decision, there is Monta Ellis, Josh Smith, and a risk in Bynum. Good luck finding a "win now" squad with that.
Hope we start from scratch.
Hopefully we get something for Josh, preferably 1st round pick...
There is literally nothing out there now outside of Howard that will have us contending with the Heat/Spurs/Thunder.
Hope we do the smart thing and don't overpay Smith/Ellis to try to sneak back into the playoffs. Take it smart and slow. Build a winner through the draft and smart signings. Anyway you can, trade for draft picks. Sign and trade Smith, and if possible Teague. See what crazy offers there could be for Horford (if we take this slow, Horford isn't needed, even though I believe he is important for a title team). Start the rookies, develop.
Hawks on Twitter are asking people who do they want to see back from last year's team. This is funny, sounds like they are trying to lower people's expectations (this is why we are laughed at, not tanking but being happy with an "ok" team). They better just rebuild than to be stuck on the treadmill again.
Woj pretty much says Hawks out of Dwight race. Time to start tanking for Wiggins/Parker.
Yeah, focus on building thru drafts. I would be ok with trading Horford or keep him to build with in future. Like I said earlier, hope we sign and trade Josh (even JT, if possible.
Even tho the moves Warriors have made, I still lean to the Rockets being DH's destination. Would have a solid team there with Parsons and Harden...
Ferry, being on Duke, should have his eye on Jabari Parker and not Monta Ellis. Wiggins or Josh Smith?
We should talk Warriors into dumping Bogut's expiring on us if we take Barnes as well so they can sign Howard, instead of hoping LA will S&T him. Barnes could be a nice start, have him play with the rookies this year.
It's official, Dwight isn't coming to Atlanta. Let's go for Wiggins/Parker.
DH signs with the Rockets...
Rumors are that Houston is trying to work on a sign and trade for Howard so they can sign Smith outright. Looking more and more like a rebuild for us.
Its Broussard so take it with a grain of salt. I would not mind Asik at all, averages a double-double. Omer and Al could grow into a nice tandem. But, there is no way we take on Lin, that contract is atrocious.Quote:
The Rockets and Hawks are working on a sign-and-trade deal that would send Josh Smith to the Rockets, tweets Chris Broussard of ESPN.com, who figures Omer Asik and Jeremy Lin are headed to Atlanta.
