Some things I am reading on Twitter sounds like they might be working out a sign and trade. Hope so, would prob be a draft pick and that is fine (anything is better than nothing). Also reports are that Hawks are looking more at sign and trade options than re-signing Smith.
Not sure how it will go but I doubt Ferry will give Howard the franchise like other teams are doing.Quote:

Although I posted it above..... We have heard so many lies about SMith and the Hawks in the past, I would not be surprised if he was a Hawk next year. I wouldn't be surpised if he wasn't ( in all fairness) either.Quote:

I'm not sure who will be a Hawk next year, Drafting 2 centers is interesting (and great that we finally did draft that position solidly). Horford could finally be moved over at PF, neither rookie center possibly wouldn't be on the roster next season, or we get rid of both Horford and Smith and do a total tank/rebuild. If we go with a youth movement and rebuild, yes. Horford is in his prime and Drummond is the best possible outcome IMO. It won't happen, but wouldn't you want a young Center prospect that has shown promise if you were rebuilding?Quote:
