I think as of today Cam is a two/ three able to play either, and Hunter is a three. So as of today, I think it’s Cam. While I do think as his body matures he may become more of a three, so the Hawks may have to look at that down the road,

I don’t see the fit right now with DeMar. He’s an exceptional player, so I wouldn’t be opposed, but the fit is off for me. He’s more of a slasher and Iso player. I also wonder if that would slow the development of Reddish, Huerter, or Hunter? If the Hawks choose to address the wing position, I’d like them to go after an established 3 and D player who understands his role, and can assist in the development of the three mentioned above.

If I’m the Hawks ( and most are not going to like this), I’d offer John, Dedmon, and future first ( not 2020) picks for Anteokounmpo. He is the only player outside of Anthony Davis, the Hawks should consider parting with assets fit to get ahead of the rebuild curb. Davis is not likely to leave LA. I can’t say the same about the Greek Freak in Mil. It would be a huge risk and I would be unwilling to add Trae, Cam, or this years pick in the deal.

If not I think the Hawks would have to be one of the teams on a short list he should consider in FA. The Hawks will be a playoff team if healthy next season, with or without him. We should be a very intriguing landing spot for him....

Now that would be awesome. If not I’d resign John, but not to a max deal. His offense is to dependent on Trae to max him. If they do, I think he will be traded.

No doubt. They’d want Something similar to what the Lakers gave up. That being said Collins ( all be it suspended at one point) has done a lot more to establish his self than anyone the Lakers gave up at that time. That being said it will take another young player and picks. If the Hawks are blessed enough to land in a position to draft Weismann, I would not include that pick, Trae, nor Cam. However I wouldn’t give up the package the Lakers gave. As we don’t have the pull of an LA, we don’t LeBron, nor any assurances from his agent. So as stated above Collins would have to be included, maybe Huerter, and future picks.

If the pick is not too 3, offering it and Collins should get the ball rolling. As far as LA, I thought they gave to much. However they backed themselves in a corner with all the talk. I thought they should have been able to hold onto Ball in the deal. We would not be in that same position. As we wouldn’t be talking about it for a year.

Greek Freak has said all the right things, however the modern NBA just doesn’t keep superstars in small markets. Tim Duncan May be the loan exception and even he is from a past generation. Atlanta is a top ten Market, just takes a winner!

Saw a Draft Lottery simulation just last night and in this simulation it has the Hawks picking at #2 and drafting at #2 and with that pick choose Anthony Edwards with their pick

Who went number one? And do you support that pick, if it goes as the mock simulated it?

In the mock draft simulation it had LaMelo going #1 and it had him going to the Detroit Pistons and honestly I could see it...but Edwards going #2 and playing for his hometown Hawks is almost destiny

Just saw the updates for the mocks and it has the Hawks taking PF Onyeka Okongwu as far as the Hawks draft board goes; I would say the future looks bright for the Hawks team

Would Warriors take Collins for their #2? We draft Wiseman with that pick. Thoughts? Just don't see Collins as our star. Just near star level. If I'm correct, this will be Collins last season bf his 1st big paycheck? If so, then would take more than Collins for the #2 pick. Just thinking out loud here...

Also, Caldwell-Pope, as it looks will become fa. Nice player to play alongside of Trae. Another deep shooter. Def try and sign Rondo as Trae's backup and vet presence.

Another player I'm curious about is Giannis. Will he accept the Bucks 5yr max after the season? Should they take their chances and hope they can add more players to team to contend, when more likely cannot afford due to Giannis max contract? Or should they trade and get max in return for him? If they wait til near trade deadline, his value will still be somewhat high, but nothing near what he's worth now. Thoughts?

I actually agree with it as GS is win now! James doesn’t have the lateral foot speed of a AD or Freak, however he does have the well above average lateral foot speed for a big now. His offense is behind his defense right now, that being said he’s a legit 5 and should be a better player than JC in the near future. If Cspela wasn’t on the roster, I’d be all over it. However I think whom ever the Hawks draft will becoming off the bench this year,

Hey bud. Good to see you again. Yeah, I feel the same way. As long as it's a guy who could impact us off the bench, then I'm ok with it. After been studying players players lately, I honestly do not know who to pick. That's of course if Edwards, Wiseman and Ball all off the board, and they look to be the taken in the top 3 or 4. I just don't have my hope up like I did earlier. Still good players may come out of this draft and hope our 6th will be one of them...

I did like the Harris idea but it looks he will return to the Nets. Rondo not too shabby. Backing up Trae would be great but not too sure with idea of him tutoring Trae. He and other kids been playing well and do not want any interference in how Young plays his game. Let him keep playing his game as he'll naturally keep doing better. Just my opinion.

Hey, as far as Capela, never know what he could do to better this team. May be exactly what we need so no need to trade him. One of best O rebounder who will cover any missed shots, especially by our deep shooters. Would I still trade our #6 and Capela? We might have to do so for the #1 pick as Wiseman could be picked first overall. It's a gamble for sure. The draft is almost completely flat from very 1st pick up to 10-12th pick, if not further. Guess we will see here in less than an hour...

I do not understand the Okongwu pick at all especially when you have Collins playing the 4 spot and Capella at the 5 playing center and Onyeka basically plays center...unless you move Collins to the 3 spot and have him play small forward and have Onyeka at the 4 (PF) and Capela at the 5 (C)

Capela def would be blocking OKONGWU which has me to believe something else is up their their sleeves. Maybe a team contacted the Hawks on making a trade for Okongwu or Capela will be on the move. If a team made an offer to the Hawks for Okongwu, I think it would already have been done. Not sure what else to think here. I actually like him even tho he's 6'9". He very physical....

I think the Mays pick was a steal at 50. Not sure if he's underrated being he spent 4 years in college but she shows some promises...
