I'm ok with this year's 17th pick and next year's 1st rd for Prince...
With 3-1st rd picks and 3-2nd rd picks I do believe we will be packing picks together to move up. No way we will have 6 rookies joining our already very young team...

Agreed.
I think we will attempt to trade up to 3,4, or 5. I said on another sight, I believe Reddish had surgery now because he received a promise. I wondered if it was us? Now I believe it was the Bulls and we will leap frog them.
If we can use 10, 17, and one of our 2nd round picks to move up, I will be elated! We would still be in front of Washington to draft the drafts top center. Or Doumbouya!
However I will say I think it’s a slight possibility the Hawks keep all 3 and draft Reddish, Haynes and Doumbouya and stash him overseas or in the D-league. We’ve also been connected to Nasir Little in drafts. These are the 4 of the 5 I’ve seen us connected to the most.
I would be happy with any of these with our top 2 picks:
8- Little/Hunter/Culver/Reddish
10- Hayes or Doumboya
Or:
Trade all of our 6 picks for Williamson, which still may not make it possible :o
Or:
Pack 2 or all 3 2nd rounders to move up for mid-late 1st pick
Or:
Trade Crabbe and Baze to free up space and sign Durant and Thompson (Would have to give up our picks for teams to take up bad contracts)
Durant
Collins
Young
Thompson
Hayes
I know, it's only fun. I put Hayes in there bc I feel he will make immediate impact and will get even better after couple seasons of seasoning. Collins will have a 20/10 season. I think Trae will put up similar numbers but higher assists and more accurate shooting. I would expect Hayes to get near 10 rebounds per game but only 10ppg with limited shots and avg least 60% fg. Thompson 18-20 ppg and we all know what Durant would do. I think we would def contend but need least couple seasons for everyone to play their game but By then, Durant and Thompson will start to decline lol. Just my prediction with some fun. I'm all reality, I feel good about the Hawks moving forward. Gonna be interesting to see what happens to this draft while I think it's best to leave FA alone. While my days of hoping to land Williamson are over, still feel good and looking forward to watch them play together. Now draft just 3 weeks away...
I wouldn’t take Little at 8. I think he has tremendous upside, but 8 would be a reach. If we do lane Reddish ( preferably), Culver, or Hunter at 8, a lesser reach at ten is possible. I’d sub Doumbouya in at eight. Who I believe has more upside than Little and is just as Raw. So to respectfully tune you list to my liking I’d say, I’d be happy with:
Reddish ( preferably), Culver, Hunter, or Doumbouya at 8.
Haynes, Doumbouya, Little, or Bol if the Hawks are truly that interested, at ten.
At 17 Porter, Goga, and Langford make some sense depending on what happens with the other picks.
If I had my preferences as of now I’d love to walk out of this draft with Reddish, Doumbouya, and Porter. With the possibility of landing Gafford or Brown with the #36 pick.
I don’t think we would move picks to get rid of contracts, considering we just took on a contract to get a pick. We technically could make room for anyone easily. But only one max spot.
You think we be able to move up to get either Barret or Hunter trading up our 10th n 17th pick?
Only if NY is truly in love with Culver and take him at 3, Then we move up to 4 to select Barrett. I’ve read the rumors of us and the 4 picks, but in that scenario I think the Pelicans would take Barrett.
Trading up for Hunter would be a mistake in
My opinion. He’s The exact same mold as T. Prince! Hunter is a 3 and D player with limited upside, that is ready to contribute. However we are not ready to contend! We need to select a player with more upside. Just my opinion.
2 questions for you:
1-you think Reddish will improve his shooting accuracy once adjusted to NBA?
2-if the Hawks are high in him, should we take chances he'll fall to 8th pick it should we try to move up knowing we will get him?
The Knicks rejected our 8th n 10th for their 3rd. Makes me think the Hawks are after Barrett. Hunter wouldn't be that high. Have no need for a PG. Now I'm wondering if Pels will trade their 4th for those 2 picks of ours.
Honestly, it's a tough situation to be in. Like I said before, are we seriously gonna have this many guys come on board for us via draft? 6 rookies is a lot to an already super young team (now Carter is gone lol but will be missed). Of course there's high chance they all won't pan out, if half of them do. If we do keep all of our firsts, why not bundle up all 3 2nd picks to move up as high as we can for prob a mid to mid-late 1st pick? Maybe get another Huerter in Cameron Johnson? I think he'll fall below our 17th.
Say that happens, we get 18-20th pick and we keep all other 1st picks. We could end up with this:
Reddish
Hayes
Washington
Cameron
Adds more deep shooters in both Wash and Cam. Reddish replace Prince. Hayes keeps Collins at PF. Just a Zion-type player short to be the next Warriors lol. Wiseman???
