I wouldn't do it either.

Well as the CP3 "don't talk to me" news hit, my only hope is to try and keep Josh and somehow get Dwight.
I like the thought of AK47 in a Hawks uni
But as my Hawks have done in the past, they'll leave me disappointed lol
This Howard stuff is getting out of hand. Warriors wanting to trade Lee for a chance it seems. That would be a bad move on their part.
I see Houston (if they get Dwight) and Boston (with Rondo) wanting Smith and we could get some nice young players in a sign and trade.
Some of you guys are up for any trade Or any signing. Smh.. Good thing its Ferry's job
Asik would be good if we sign trade Smith for him. Just entering his prime and moves Horford over to his natural position. Rebuild with that...

Getting a big young, bruising, & talented big for Smith wouldn't be the worse thing in the world. It's better than losing a talented guy like Josh for nothing. The Hawks could basically be like Houston has been; a young, talented, & inexpensive team with the flexibility to improve. If the Hawks don't plan on tanking to get Wiggins, building a young & competitive team with plenty of assets..Quote:
Source tells me the Hawks are hoping Howard goes to Houston if its not them, plan on offering to s&t Smith for Asik or get Asik outright.

Id love the addition of iggy. A guy who plays great d, can rebound, can pad, can score the rock. I think he'd be a great addition at the right price at sf. Also wouldn't mind byron mullens as a backup pf, cheap and would be a poor mans ryan anderson.
Also like the idea of adding omer asik. Maybe a s&t for jsmith to boston and get sullenger and a 1st, or maybe even Avery bradley with them having just added marshon brooks.
Pg-teague
Sg-bradley
Sf-iggy
Pf-horford
C-asik
Good squad and young
Not in love with the Asik idea. To be honest I'd rather have unprotected picks.
I do like the Iggy idea. He can play either wing spot and even a little point forward if needed.
I also like the Byron Mullens idea. He is clearly a guy that never reached his potential, but he can play block shots, dunk put backs, run the floor and do something Anderson can't! Knock down the 15 footer.
Anyone else having problems logging on?

Hawks free agent forward Josh Smith is expected to meet with the Rockets and the Hawks on Monday, source said.
IDK if Boston would except that...... However if they would accept a S&T for JT in exchange for Rondo, and we could somehow move Lee to a 3rd team, And you could tell Howard, I can pair you with Horford, Rondo, and possibly Smith if he doesn't want the max, that would be something DH12 would seriously have to consider.Quote:

The Trade
Atlanta Hawks Get: SG Courtney Lee and PG Rajon Rondo
Boston Celtics Get: PG Jeff Teague (sign-and-trade), SG Louis Williams and top-five protected 2014 first-round pick
Go with me on this.
Josh Smith may not be so inclined to leave the Hawks if they bring Rondo into the fold. The two are known buddies and could form quite the trio with Al Horford in Atlanta. Boston has maintained a similar thought process since this past season's trade deadline, and it wouldn't be ridiculous to suggest the Hawks could do the same.
They get a franchise point man in Rondo who either a) keeps Smith in Atlanta and helps him broach his ceiling and/or b) draws in future prospective free agents. Lee's contract is hardly desirable, but he's a strong perimeter defender (bye, DeShawn Stevenson) and a formidable scorer in transition.
The Celtics could get a starting-caliber point guard in Teague who earned just under $3 million this past season. Though he's due for a raise, there's no doubt in my mind he could be had at a reasonable cost.
William's contract is worlds better (for Boston) than Lee's, and he could provide the scoring that Jason Terry (soon to be a Brooklyn Net) was supposed to.
That first-round pick is meant to sweeten the deal. Atlanta can and should give the Celtics their choice of year. Depending how confident they are that they'll stay out of the lottery (aka lose out on the Andrew Wiggins sweepstakes anyway in 2014), it could be an unprotected selection.
Pencil this in as something that should be explored.
Rondo
Jenkins
Smith
Horford
Howard
Nice..... Biggest problem is moving Lou looks bad, being that we just signed last off-season.
