Why Wiseman when we have Collins or say why keep Collins at PF when he's better suited as a big? If we draft either Barrett or Williamson, Collins then would slide over to C. If we were in need of a C, I would have been aggressive in getting Bol Bol with our 2nd-1st round pick in next year's draft, whether it's the Mavs pick it if we would have to trade to move up. Collin plenty good and I think we should keep Len as backup and maybe sign Brook Lopez via FA for added depth...

I definitely think it’s easier to imagine RJ and Zion becoming stars st this point. I also think it’s easier to see RJ or Zion becoming bust. I think Cam has the higher ceiling with his shot, I think RJ and Zion have a higher chance at reaching their ceiling with their aggressive nature. In a perfect world we would end up with #1, #6 via Dallas, and number #11 via Clev. Giving us the opertunity to draft RJ or Zion #1 and Cam #6. But if I’m thinking long term I think Cams upside and lack of bust potential make him my guy.

Again I do agree RJ and Zion have a greater chance of reaching their respective high ceilings, than Cam does. However if Cam does, look out!

Heck, you seems to know more on these college guys than i, which why I value your opinion. I'll leave it and see what you say to my above post. I'm waiting for Love to get back in even having hope we will land their 1st rounder. Only time will tell.

I do have a question for you. Why is every news article suggesting we trade Prince? Am I over-valueing him? What's wrong with having him as the weakest 5th player. He helps spread the floor on one end of the court with his shooting. His 2nd half performance of last season puts him with elite class of LeBron and George, as far as stats. He's playing this season as somewhat as the same guy even tho he's been out due to injury....

Since Rondo is out 5-6 weeks, maybe give the Lakers Lin and Prince for Ingram? Lin would easily fill Rondo's shoes and Lakers would gain more depth at SF...

Lakers will likely hold their young players for a run at Davis. And BI could fetch a little more than we can offer.

Prince just doesn’t appear to fit into the long term plan. And with his age and production, he likely fetches the biggest return. So fair it not, we will continue to hear his name for a while.

Wiseman has been compared to Anthony Davis a lot. Will he be the next AD? Idk. But I’d settle for him being the next KG! Wiseman is Tall, long, Athletic, and has some inside outside game already. Along with being coached by Penny Hardaway in his AAU years and skated to continue that at the university of Memphis. Put all that together and you can understand why he had been so highly regarded. Collins can play the 4 or the 5, so I for have no problem seeing them share the court at the same time.

Makes sense but also would do whatever to win it all being James is starting to be limited on his ability due to his age...

Some players mature and step up sooner than others. It appears to be sooner for Kuz and later for BI ( despite him having significantly more upside). My honest belief is the Lakers get a deal done for Anthony Davis, costing them Brandon Ingram and Kuzma as the center pieces in the very near future. I could see the Lakers having interest in Lin and Prince at the cost of future draft picks, I just don’t see them willing to sell on the Anthony Davis dream, to get Lin and Prince. And no matter what version of that proposed trade you listen to, Ingram is in all of them.

Would trading Prince, Dedmon, Lin and future picks get us Simmons?

I seriously doubt it...... but they are having issues in Philly.


I like Simmons a lot and would gladly trade with Philly to bring him to Atlanta! However that may cause an issue with style of play for the Hawks. Who’s hands would the ball be in Young or Simmons? Neither is at the maturity stage to play 2nd fiddle as the main ball handler. Would I build a package around Young for Simmons? Absolutely! However that would be current brass admitting they ****ed up the pick and should have stayed with Donic. So the Hawks won’t.

I would not trade Prince. Prince is a future starter for The Hawks (IMO) unless they luck up and score Zion Williamson, and who's going to give you a valid trade piece for Prince, he is just as valuable as Kevin Huerter. The only reason I would be willing to part with Spellman is because he hasn't shown any comfort in his game. But, I welcome your opinion. Thanks.

I’m inclined to agree with you. If the Hawks land the first pick Zion or RJ make up the short list. However if they don’t or trade down, the guy that fits what they are trying to do is Cam Reddish. So if they do draft Cam, Prince becomes extremely expendable. As I would rather have Kelvin and Cam occupying the 2 and 3 spots. Prince is a solid 3 that has some upside left, but I’d be lying if I said he wasn’t disappointing this year.

Prince will get us a 1rst round pick from a team willing to gamble on that upside. Maybe even a top 10 protected pick.

Dedmon can get us a late 1rst, from a contender.

Lin can get us a protected pick.

Baze can get us a protected pick.

Our of the 4 Prince has the most value due to youth and upside.


Just my opinion though.
