Thoughts? Should he be punished either by the Eagles or the NFL?
He later clarified his original post and re-posted the original picture which showed he was referencing only one sentence that mentioned white america.
That being said, who cares. People need something to whine about nowadays. The president is tweeting videos of white power, why cant Desean post a message, even it upsets some people. Its the world we live in now, so fricking divided.
Also Eagles didnt cut Riley Cooper after he said the N word, they wont cut Desean.
Dumb post(Deseans not this one). More misguided than anti-semitic, some have been punished for less others havent been punished for more so who knows. Theres a very specific type of people more outraged at this right now though who havent expressed much outrage at other current events if you find that at all hypocritical
Outs himself?
Lulz.

I wish people had the ability to talk about two injustices at once. These comments from DJax and people defending them, Louis Farrakhan being revered by many in the black community, Ice Cube continuing to be given a voice and a platform, and so on... there’s clearly an unwillingness to call out anyone for in the black community for anti-semitism, or if anyone does call them out it’s just “whataboutism” to trivialize racism. No. Anti-semitism is prejudice. There’s no place for it in society. People who spew it should be criticized, ostracized and shunned from society. That has zero to do with any other issue. Anti-semitism is bad and it’s not whataboutism to any other cause to say it.
Definitely a lot of racist who only want to use this as an excuse for their racism rather than actually caring about the hatred and prejudice DJax spews.
I just don’t ever get around to caring that they’re hypocritical because I’m too busy hating them for being racist. Just like I’m hating on DJax for spewing anti-semitism. I don’t see why people can’t be mad at a black person being anti-Semite and a white person being racist. I’m don’t see how those are contradictory.
Sounds like the eagles are investigating ways to void his contract.
Damn, that's embarrassing. What kind of trash is DJax reading?
It would be an awful look for the Eagles to stand by Riley Cooper despite his blatant racist remark and cut Desean over his lack of awareness.
Yeah, the Eagles (and the NFL as a whole) have kind of backed themselves into a corner. They’ve buried their head in the sand and/or prioritized profits over people before.
It SEEMS like with the current movement the NFL and a lot of other organizations are moving away from that. But now the first chance for them to really back their words on that comes with a black man saying anti-Semitic things. So if they really turn a new leaf and start taking hateful words seriously, it’s going to be miscast as them just continuing to target and oppress their black employees. So it’s a PR nightmare for them to punish him or hold him accountable in some way.
Then again, the error of their ways in the past has been to try and smooth things over PR wise to avoid a hit in profits as opposed to really siding with the side of right over wrong and taking hateful things seriously. So by NOT taking this seriously they’re just continuing morally with what they’ve always done.
Welcome back to Philly DJax .. lol .. I guess we know who he’s voting for . They will love him in philly for this 🤣🤣🇺🇸🇺🇸
I absolutely agree, people have the right to be angry and offended at both but i think the loudest voices right now are just angry at this one. It was stupid, anti-semitic (i believe unintentionally but that doesnt make it any better/excuse it), and deserves some form of punishment. The problem as was pointed out in another post is the NFLs current stance on hate speech and how they backed themselves into a corner and how theyve been majorly inconsistent in past disciplines so no punishment is likely to satisfy a majority no matter what.
Yep. Everything's red vs blue now so calling out something obviously wrong becomes a political stance rather than moral.
I said this over in the eagles forum and ill repeat here. Anti-semitism isnt discussed much in america, let alone black communities, so i can see this coming from a place of true ignorance rather than actual hate, and i dont think cancelling is the proper response. This should be a teaching opportunity and possibly even allow a larger dialogue to take place.
I’m gonna ask any honest question if this was a White Player how much different would the media react?
This. In 2013 wasnt DV like a 2 game suspension? The league has changed. But for a recent example of racism, AB had to be physically pulled away from Mayock while calling him a cracker and he never got suspended or even fined. So maybe the NFL stance on prejudice is a non punishment?
Lol forgot about Riley Cooperhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...2085afbfe4.jpg
Yup. And even still, what does it matter if the world wasn’t what it is right now? The Eagles can’t decide themselves that they need to change their ways and maybe admit that they won’t let the Cooper thing happen again? Also, wonder how much that Cooper thing had do with the influence of Chip and what control he had. Obviously it’s ultimately the owners choice but Chip could’ve convinced a “ill change him blah blah blah” to keep Cooper.
The world right now is aware and it’s absolutely the way it should be but the Cooper thing shouldn’t have any bearing on the Jackson decision. Both Cooper and Jackson should be/ have been punished.

cant wait to hear all these eagles fans saying he needs to be cut etc right? imagine if he was a white guy and posted a kkk image or something.... he would be jobless and banned 10 minutes in.
we need to stop as a people destroying peoples lives over stupid mistakes that dont hurt people and instead we need to educate... jackson losing his job etc wont change anything but trying to educate him might... it needs to be this way all around.
