What's up, man. Not sure why I am thinking of it right now, but I wanted to apologize for being a dick to you in years past.

So, has some of my silliness gotten me shunned?

Our place is just outside of Bangor, about three hours north of Portland, near the University of Maine in Orono. We’ll probably move up there ourselves when my wife and I both retire.

Portland is a wonderful city (we don’t get down there often enough when we are up for the summer — we tend to go to Belfast area for our dose of the ocean). Great resources. Generally affordable. An hour and a half from Boston.

Despite suffering two terms with Paul LaPage (mini-Trump) as governor, the political scene in Maine is pretty interesting, what with rank-choice voting, a unique allocation of electoral college votes, and a strong independent presence (one senator — Angus King — is an independent though not as progressive as Sanders), the state is ahead of the curve.

where in Maine do you live? My wife always wanted to go there, so we went to Portland last summer for 5 days, we just loved it. Housing is very affordable there too, but I would likely have to be near Portland due to my line of work (transportation).

We are seriously considering moving there at some point, but for now it's just a dream..
