I never got in trouble for it because the majority could tell what I was saying and what I wasn't saying, but I felt it better to leave it out in be forum.

Saddam was the opposite end of the spectrum, which is just as dangerous and brutal. So I get the safety argument, but I think the world can do better.

Getting to a stable, secular governing majority is not going to be pretty and it's going to have difficulty growing in the world when we wont allow it. We want daily and weekly resolutions to issues that have been growing for centuries and centuries.

I'll throw some comments in the thread but there will be a portion that doesn't get included...

My thoughts: That would be bombing that region of the world up about a millennium. The ways that their governments operate is much more akin to 2000 BC than AD.
