Yea, I over reached for Hill but I liked his versatility offensively and defensively.

Would a Hill-Mchale team look decent on both ends of the court?

    Yea, sounds like fun.

What will the project be about?

haha yeah....afflalo is a solid option at G.... With depth being a major issue in a league like this, i put together a team of tweeners....we'll see how it works

How good was Grant Hill defensively in his prime? I don't have much information on him and I have him on my team beside McHale so far.

I guess we can go with positional but I think that is more clear cut than straight up overall rankings to be honest..

I get mine in by Monday Chronz. I'm glad we're actually doing this.

Cool, nice to see you're on board with this and also going to extend this further.
btw pg-f is point-forward and sf-pf is what you'd call stretch 4's but thought i'd use signs instead of full words
  9. Maybe we should have gone with the new age definitions Points, Combo Guards, Swings, Tweeners and Bigmen. If your trying to get hyper accurate then dont worry, the G.O.A.T. Project will get more descriptive as the process gos on. The Individual Rankings are just the starting point but dont think of it as we are pigeonholing these players into a position or slot on the list just yet. We will review the results together

thing is, i'm having trouble calling Havlicek a SF and English a SG when in fact they played the same position, which was the SG-SF.
I think it'd be easier and better if we sorted it out with multiple positions.
eg Walt Frazier would be a PG-SG, same with Jerry West. Stockton and CP3 would be PG, Magic Johnson would be PG-F, Michael Jordan would be SG, Grant Hill and Alex English would be SG-SF, Bowen would be SF, Peja Stojakovic, DeBuscherre and Dennis Rodman would be SF-PF, Oakley and Buck Williams would be PF, Duncan and Moses Malone would be PF-C and Wilt Chamberlain would be a C.
Long story short, instead of 5 categories you have 10. Makes it all smoother. Can't have a SG list with Oscar Robertson in it for example, he was more of a PG-SG or PG-F. Same for Tmac, can't put him as SG or SF, he was SG-SF...
And instead of 15 players per position, we have 10, so it's top 100 players by position basically. Round numbers
