    Lakers vs. Rockets: Battle Royale (SIG BET)

    ARE YOU A LAKERS OR ROCKETS FAN BUT WANT TO SHOW THE WORLD WHO WILL BE BETTER THIS YEAR? WANT TO MAKE A WAGER WITH LAKERS/ROCKETS FANS? WANT TO TRASH TALK? OR ARE YOU JUST A REGULAR NBA FAN WHO BELIEVES THAT ONE TEAM WILL DO BETTER THAN THE OTHER? This group is for the Lakers and Rockets Sig bet challenge of the 2008-2009 NBA Season. Lakers, Rockets or anyone else for that matter can join in on the sig bet challenge on any side..



    Here are the rules:





    It will be a month by month bet consisting of October/November, December, January, February, March and April



    At the end of each month, we will compare the two team's records and whoever has the better record, the losing team wears a sig for 2 Weeks.. If there is a head to head matchup in that month, the team that loses that game, wears the sig for 1 week



    For example, Lets say for the month of December, the Lakers had a better record than the Rockets, Rockets fans wear a sig the Lakers fans make for 2 weeks, however if there was a Lakers v. Rockets game in any time of December and lets say the Rockets won, the Lakers fans at the end of the month wear a sig the Rockets fans make for 1 week.. If a team has lost the head to head matchup AND lost the month as well, the team that loses wears 1 sig by the winner's choosing for 3 weeks (2 weeks for losing month + 1 week for losing head to head) At the end of the regular season, we will compare both team's overall record, whoever has the better overall record, the losing team wears a sig for 3 weeks



    People may switch sides or leave the bet right before opening night..



    Oh and after opening night, no one, I repeat, NO ONE, regardless of who gets injured leaves the bet.. You can still join in on the bet, up to opening night..
