Pretty sure these guys voted Doc over Pop as head coach too, wondering what the numbers are for coaches. I think Bron deserves it though for what he has accomplished though, at least on the court.

Cam Reddish as best career, it just goes to show that these guys are more about physical tool box vs. complete package in terms pf physical skills and mental makeup/toughness in their assessment. He seemed soft and passive to me at Duke with Zion and RJ. In the NBA he'll start off with Zion and Jrue and other guys as well. NOt sure how he responds to that to start off. Cam Reddish does have a nice stroke and he displayed a great all around offensive package in HS and AAU circuit, so maybe these guys still remember the HS Reddish. Hope he does well in the NBA, maybe I'm under-estimating Cam.

He did play with a lingering injury (core) throughout his freshman season with Duke. Had surgery once season ended. They expect him to rebound bringing back the same Cam everyone predicted before playing at Duke....

Maybe there's some bias and jealousy added in. Last year's survey showed a disdain for Doncic. This year it seems like guys are jealous of Zion and the attention he's getting and his endorsement money? Maybe guys vote for who they get along with. So a lot of subjective elements.

Well it also goes to show that you should never take NBA players assessment of other players with anything other than a grain of salt. The fact that Devin Booker got more votes than Curry, or any votes for that matter, proves that.

Someone who is good at basketball is not automatically good at evaluating basketball.
