Now that Kawhi is off the board, the league is pretty much set for next season. The NBA has 5 marquee games on Christmas Day that often feature the best teams in the NBA (and the Knicks). After all the changes we've seen, what should the Christmas Day games of 2019 be? Here would be my 5

1. Los Angeles Lakers @ Los Angeles Clippers-Lebron/AD vs Kawhi/PG in a battle for LA.

2. Golden State Warriors @ Brooklyn Nets-The Warriors, sporting a back court of D-Lo/Curry, come to Brooklyn to meet the new look Nets (plus a reunion with KD).

3. Boston Celtics @ Philadelphia 76ers-The new look 76ers vs the new look Celtics as both teams battle for Eastern Supremacy.

4. New Orleans Pelicans @ Milwaukee Bucks-Zion vs The Greek Freak

5. Houston Rockets @ Portland Trail Blazers-Harden/CP3 vs Lillard/McCollum with both teams trying to stay on top in this insane Western Conference.

With 6 West teams and 4 East teams, that's pretty good parity and entertaining games. What would your Christmas Day games be? Can't wait!

Well don't the defending Champions always play on Christmas? For that reason alone shouldn't the Raptors play on Christmas?

Lakers vs Pelicans is the game I want to see.

12:00 pm- Bucks vs Raptors (Defending champions on Christmas...it is only fair considering they won it all)
2:30 pm- Celtics vs 76ers (Kyrie faces off against his former team but in Brooklyn)
5:30 pm- Pelicans vs Knicks (Zion vs RJ but in the Garden on Christmas)
8:00 pm- Rockets vs Warriors
10:30 pm- Clippers vs Lakers (Kawhi vs LeBron)

Iíd have the Raps face Golden State. With no Kawhi and likely no Klay still. That would be a fair matchup. Both teams lost a superstar. I like it.

Don't kid yourself, darling. Even with kawhi it would be bucks vs. Raptors.Philly deserves the knicks /nets early gimmick game for the NYC market.

nono if they had KL yes it would be either bucks/raptors or bucks/philly... probably raps/philly because the 9 bounces... warriors/raptors is a must as is clippers/lakers at this point. Bucks/sixers is also worth

Siakam is about to be a superstar - they'll regret it.

Plus the Raptors are the defending NBA Champions...they are World Champions and it has always, always been a tradition for the World Champions to play on Christmas Day and last I checked Toronto won the NBA Championship so shouldn't they be playing on Christmas Day?

Then in that case I would go like this:

Christmas 2019 (December 25th, 2019 Schedule of Games)

12:00 pm- Philadelphia 76ers vs New York Knicks
2:30 pm- Toronto Raptors vs Golden State Warriors (rematch of the 2019 NBA Finals)
5:30 pm- Brooklyn Nets vs Boston Celtics (Kyrie takes on his former team in Boston)
8:00 pm- Milwaukee Bucks vs New Orleans Pelicans (Zion vs Giannis)
10:30 pm- Los Angeles Clippers vs Los Angeles Lakers (Battle of LA in LA...Kawhi vs LeBron)

Because on Christmas they always go to the Garden more or less but also because of RJ Barrett being there and he gets to play on Christmas so does Zion

rather see legit matchups over bad teams. This is like the NFL putting the redskins on thanksgiving every year... its terrible.
