Its honestly like an old western with the lakers and clippers doing a draw to the death... 1 team is about to get ****ed after all of this planning while the other becomes king.

We were all wondering what he would get. $13 per proved right, I know a couple of you had him getting that or right around it.

:laugh2: Gonna be fun to see what Kawhi does....

One team is gonna come out as contenders next season, while the other two will probably be ****ed royally (for at least one year)

I was definitely wrong. I thought he'd get the $15-$17m range.

You know whatís funny to me. All season long Iíve had to deal with The Clippers tampering... with Clippers reps going to raptors games scouting Leonard, to having Doc gush over Kawhi and compare him to Jordan, to having billboards put up and then denying they had anything to do with it.

You werenít wrong Mike, you were off by a couple mill. But you know who was wrong ? The Clippers, for thinking having cap space equates to the best players in the world joining their team just because they set it up to be possible financially. As if that was an accomplishment in it own. The nets found the same cap space, and even the Lakers were able to open another max slot after trading for Davis.

So far theyíve been able to keep Patrick Beverly with that cap space and other than Kawhi all their other options are gone. Iím also willing to bet anything Kawhi doesnít go there to play with Lou Williams and Gallinari when he can join LBJ & AD or stay put on a championship roster. Itís Lakers or Raptors and thatís fine by me if he goes to the Lakers at least they werenít tampering with him all year long.

It was pretty blatant which is my annoyance with it all.

I feel man. They need to revamp the whole thing. I know itís impossible to monitor but if a player is under contract and they discuss another players move to their team it should be tampering. Players are part of the organization and in some cases have more pull than the GM. They shouldnít be able to orchestrate moves.

40 Mill for a defensive specialist??? Why?

It was all season long to. We had Lawrence Frank at our games scouting Leonard like heís a college player lol. Some ridiculous ****.

we had to hear Wojnarowski tell us heís going to the Cippers for an entire year. That was incredibly distracting too. To the point where there was times I felt like Woj was advocating instead of reporting. Iíve never seen a reporter target a player for an entire season and consistently remind us that heís going to the another team, and then be completely wrong about it.

Even during our finals run they couldnít just let us be in the moment to enjoy that. All along weíve had Chris Broussard and Wojnarowski in the back round reminding us that this isnít gonna last.

Claiming another teams best player for an entire season, and having the most credible reporter spew it out every other day ad nauseam would get to any fan base.

You are correct. Woj seemed to be on Ballmer's payroll with the amount of advocating he's been doing for the Clippers. He's still doing it. He's talking about them adding Mo Harkless and a protected 1st round pick like it's the most genius move of all time. He's still saying the 2021 Heat pick that belongs to the Clippers is a great asset because how bad the Heat might be in 2 years, despite them just getting Butler.

Clippers are doing fine. But I've heard too much about their vaunted front office. People say the Lakers are a mess, but Rob and Magic took over with Mozgov and Deng using up $32 million in cap space per year and the highest paid players on the team. Now they have Lebron, AD, and cap space. Clippers front office took over with CP3, Jordan, and Griffin and turned them into cap space and late picks. Safe to say one team started with a head start in talent but the other is on the verge of creating a super team.

With the contracts they were handing out, that seems very believable.
