I don't get why they need JJ with Jrue, Hart, and Ball.

BRUH there is no shooting there, Redick off the bench will be FIRE

Wow, the Sixers have taken two big Ls especially if Butler leaves to Miami.

Also, I thought Redick would've been a better option for the Lakers. Maybe he would've started as well.

Curious for JJ to go from a contender to non-contender

The $26.5M is fully guaranteed.

They’ definitely need him since they don’t have much shooting. Good pickup

Lakers wouldn’t have paid him that cash. He likely never expected to have had the career he’s had. Maxing his money makes sense.

The Sixers don't look as strong now if Butler leaves.

Even with Butler they simply don't have enough shooting. They will end up doing something desperate like Wayne Ellington or Rodney Hood to add shooting.

Hood went back to Portland.

Pels are a sleeper team IMO. I like the team construction and the mix of youth and experience.

JJ Redick has never missed the playoffs. David Griffin knew what he was doing. Pencil the Pelicans in for May basketball next year.

But in reality, he's one of the quality veterans in the league, which will be vital on such a young group. He also provides much-needed shooting. Pelicans have made some really nice moves this offseason, and this is another good one.
