Any significant changes to the actual list outside of Kawhi moving up to first team. Does third team include guys like Lowry or Draymond?

I got first team pretty easy;
Curry - Harden - Kawhi - Giannis - Jokic

2nd team is spearheaded by
Lillard - ???? - Butler(?) - KD - Embiid

KD 2nd team when he was the best playoff performer before he got injured and carried the warriors? Klay should def be first team or 2nd team with his playoff performance... Curry should be demoted to 2nd team for his finals LMFAO moment and giannis and joel shouldnt even be on the list after what gasol did to them and that performance by lillard should knock him off of 2nd team as well... this would be just for the playoffs of course

as for playoffs and regular season there is no chance durant isnt 1st team... that is adorable.

  You run on troll-fuel and it's great. If you're being serious, you may want to reconsider what is wrong with you MTM lol.

I like this thread.

1st Team:

G: Curry - lock (near unanimous for reg season and led the Warriors to the Finals and a tight loss against what became the better team. Likely secured a spot in the top 20 All Time with another borderline MVP level season)
G: Harden - lock (unanimous reg season and a strong enough playoffs to keep him a lock)
F: Giannis - lock (ditto Harden. Unanimous reg season and strong enough in the playoffs to remain a lock)
F: Kawhi - (2nd/3rd Team regular season, but passes PG for 1st Team after leading his team to the title while PG and company went down to Portland in 5. KD unfortunately loses his shot here in going down in the 2nd round with Kawhi and the Warriors trampling along)
C: Jokic - lock (reg season was a toss up but that doubt was removed in the playoffs)

I might flush out the 2nd/3rd Team later. PG, Lillard and KD for sure would be 2nd team (1st Team forward was open in this debate outside of the MVP, but Kawhi nabs it with the Raptors run... despite him receiving possibly a bit too much praise for what was an incredible all around team effort). Embiid probably edges Gobert. Jimmy Butler has a case over Kyrie now. Guard slots are open enough after 1st Team that guys like Lowry and Klay could enter the mix here with Middleton, Kemba and company.

For the 3rd team Siakim and Draymond enter the mix at the last forward spot with Bron (the lock 3rd team with whoever of Embiid/Gobert isn't 2nd Team). I'm doing this off the top of my head so probably forgetting another forward or two. Guards would likely be a combo of two of the four I listed in the 2nd Team mentions.

Nah, he was in the running for like 3rd best based on the numbers to that point and he could never carry a team when they can literally make it to G6 of the NBA FInals without you. Klay was ghosting early and doesn't really have enough to warrant that. How does Lillard losing and struggling in the WCF make him better than the guy who vastly outplayed him and actually carried his team.

To be fair KD was a scoring machine before he went down. Beverly was playing him amazingly but KD still dropped 50 and 45 on him. He led all players in scoring with 35 a game before that injury.

His production was on par with the other 2, they were slightly better and were definitely better defensively.

The Clips were a pretty bad defensive team and they took Bev off KD eventually. The gimmick couldn't last all series

There really isn't a single player that can stop KD, though. If the dude is feeling it, it's likely he drops 40 on whomever. Best scorer in the league.

Disagree. He is the most unstoppable shooter in the league. Not the best at anything. Not really athletic, not the BEST shooter, not a great driver.

He is just great because of his athleticism at that size, relatively speaking, and the fact that it is physically impossible to defend his shot.

If he's on, he'll make it. And it's not possible to stop it.

Thats pretty much any elite scorer, tho the initial defender still makes some sort of impact. Like if we had prime Tony Allen, Im sure we could limit him abit more.
