Horford can fit in nicely on any team. Especially the Lakers.

I have some major issues with the rankings on this list. Brogdon 8th ahead of Butler and Russell? Cousins and Horford all the way down at 22nd and 23rd? I realize that's not remotely the point of this thread, but I just thought I'd point out how absurd the actual player rankings were.

In terms of the actual destinations, I honestly have no clue. I'd love for Kawhi to stay in Toronto. That trade really helped balance out the league talent between conferences and him staying there will help in terms of the long-term competitiveness of the league. If he goes to the Lakers to create another freaking superteam, I'm gonna be pissed.

Everybody seems to think Kyrie is going to Brooklyn (which makes an interesting situation for Russell's free agency), and I feel pretty confident in saying that Klay is likely re-signing with Golden State. I have no clue about any of the other top guys. Who takes a gamble on Durant? Does someone pay max dollars for Kemba? Does Butler still mesh well with the young guys in Philly?

This summer has the potential to be completely nuts...

Seems the OP definitely put age as a factor into rankings . So not just a snapshot of talent right now but taking into account future progressions and regressions over their next contracts

I don't think age is enough to account for how awful those rankings are. Two to four years difference does not make Brogdon, Harris and Middleton more attractive free agents than Butler. Especially considering Butler is only 30, and he could just be signing a 4-year deal. Who would you rather have in four years: a 30-year old Malcolm Brogdon or a 34-year old Jimmy Butler?

Also, consider that Cousins is 22nd on this list, but he's only 29 years old. 34-year-old JJ Redick, 31-year-old Danny Green and 31-year-old Thaddeus Young are all much higher on the list.

Donít ask me about Butler because Iím not a Butler fan. And I really like Brogdon. Iíve always felt Butler was overrated. Heís a good player but heís also a head case. If I could sign either right now to maxes Iíd choose Brogdon because heíll be cheaper and way more upside. Butler is what he is at this point

Cousins was not good in limited time this year. He looked awful in the playoffs aside from one game. Outside of that he was a walking statue. JJ and Green are elite role players. Cousins I donít know will ever be the same. He could be, but Iím not banking on it. T Young I can see an argument there. But the other 2 - again, in terms of on court value vs money - theyíre a better signing than Cousins is. Unless youíre a bottom feeding team trying to get lucky and hit a home run and sell tickets

I mean with Cousins and Horford I know they are"better" players but when you think about what they are gonna get paid/age/injuries/baggage in Cousins case....probably not too far off.
