I really do. I have watched it 100 times now and it hurts but it was probably the greatest shot i have ever seen when you factor in the game/moment/walk off.

If they go on to win the NBA finals, maybe.

For now its just an amazing, clutch play that sent a team into the conference finals.

When that ball bounced up, there was this pause of breath being sucked out of the air that I def ain't never experienced before from a basketball game

If you like that you'd like hockey. Game 7 overtime in hockey is unlike anything else in sports. You'll have like 15 of those in a 5 minute stretch, lol

the thing that made it amazing was it was over a 7 foot 2 guy who played it perfectly... it bounced but when it bounced the crowd was so silent you can hear it clack off the rim each time..... if there was ever an ending to a movie that would be it and it was legit like a movie ending. It was incredible if you are a fan of basketball.

Kawhis reaction, the raw emotion, is maybe one of the most beautiful things I ever seen. It's like every scar from his entire life came out right there

That was something

How I felt about that Lillard shot a few years back over Parsons. Just DAMN but damn.

For saying a game winner that won a team a championship or a step back from basically half court over someone people have been saying should be DPOY to win the series were better shots?

Kawhis shot was crazy as ****, I said that last night after he did it. Idc about either team but you all winning helps Miamiís chances of getting Jimmy so idc that you all won in the least.

Keep trying though.

The two things with this play I've seen brought up on twitter that could have been called, but I would feel dirty of they did:
Siakam moving pick, and Kawhi took about 6 steps before putting down the dribble.

Except I never made that claim, it was MTM. Iím not trying anything. Iím enjoying the moment as I have been all season. Keep on trying to ruin it though. That shot is going to be my fap material until Wednesday.

:laugh2: Not so much for me personally. I knew the Raptors would be a problem this year, so I'm not surprised. Of course I wish it worked out differently, but I'm at the point where I'm pretty much over the non-sense that was last season.

Jordanís game winner in the nba finals to win the championship against the Jazz. Lillards game winner was better too.

This was the first shot that popped in my head follow by Ray Allen's 3 pointer against the Spurs in Game 6.

One was an exclamation point on a legacy

One saved a legacy of another player on his team

Kyries 3 against GS has to be above it too.

This one by kawhi was thrilling and one of the most entertaining shots because it bounced so much, but it was the 2nd round. Maybe if the raptors go on to win the championship this this shot retroactively gets a little more weight, but it's hard to say a game 7 buzzer beater in the 2nd round in a tie game was the biggest shot ever.

LaVar Ball

It was a legendary iconic shot.

But if the Raptors don't win the title this year, it loses it's value.

Very similar to DFisher's 0.4 shot. Lakers ended up losing in those playoffs in the 2004 finals to Detroit.

Not to take anything away from Lillardís shot but Kawhiís was a lot better.

We see mid range fadeaways all the time. We never see step backs from halfcourt.

there's many better ones, but this was really cool cause it was a game 7, a buzzer beater, and it bounced 4 times really slow. it was so cool!

they're not gonna win the championship, so it's not gonna mean too much. but man that was dramatic with the slow bounces, lol

pulzar
05-13-2019, 12:07 PM
There are greater shots, anything that wins games in the finals is automatically greater, IMO... but I don't think any shot had as much drama with it (1) being game 7, and (2) the bouncing.. oh my god, the bouncing!!

Imagine if Raps were down by 1, so that the miss means they're out? That's about the only thing that could've added to the drama :).

just those glorious high bounces, so slow, so loud. it was kinda like the ending of Teen Wolf, but better

there is no possible way that a shot in the 2nd round could ever be a bigger shot then some of the super iconic finals shots even if they didn't happen at the buzzer.

My game winner in 9th grade was more iconic because I decided not to play anymore and the NBA was spared my wrath.

good call, that was a "bigger shot" considering the moment.

damn LBJ has been involved in 2 of the most recent "biggest shots of all time" for 2 different teams on shots he didnt shoot :laugh2:

Felt like the ending to a disney movie or something.... where everyone is quiet and it bounces high on the rim 2-3 times before it falls in. You couldnt script a better finish to a game 7.

i guess Michael Jordan is the only other player to hit a buzzer beater to win a series in the last possible game. his was game 5 vs the Cavs(best 3 of 5)."the shot".. his was a bit better cause the Bulls were down 1, so major pressure to hit the shot(or they are eliminated). Kawhi had OT if he missed.

also better cause MJ hit another almost game winner 2 possesions before with 6 sec left to put them up 1
