The unexpected happenings this season are unique it the history of the league...

1. During the pre-season, most expected the Rockets in the West and the Celtics in the East, to rival GSW for the title...
2. Most expected that the Lakers in the West would be "back in the map" and the Raptors in the East would be the only team that could challenge the Celtics...
3. With Lebron moving to California, most expected the East to weaken further with respect to the East...

Yet...

1. The Bucks from the East and the Nuggets from the West merged as the most unexpected of contenders...

2. Celtics and Rockets are out from the 2nd round of the playoffs...

3. Lebron and the Lakers turned to prove a total mess...

4. The NBA has a new king in the East taking over the crown from Lebron (and surely winning the MVP title after his major competitor on Harden and the Rockets are out) in Giannis Antetokounmpo...

5. Most "expert" basketball analysts think that the Bucks are the team with the highest chances than any other (although still an outsider) to dethrone GSW...

With a 200+ FAs off-season coming up that has major TOP-10 All-Stars included, with one of the most interesting drafts expected, with the Rockets, the Celtics and the Thunder expected to revise their (full of All Stars) rosters having their major Stars blamed for the failure of their teams and with A. Davis in the market, how do you think next season will look like?

I don't think he is. I also don't think he knows MVP voting is done before the playoffs.

What this has to do with the O/P? The Raptors haven't "unexpectedly merged"... They have always being a contending team of the East... Nor a possible Raptors or Sixers disqualification will alter their roster policies...

Nice try at an edit, but what you said was:

2. Celtics and Raptors are out from the 2nd round of the playoffs

An obvious mistype that doesn't affect the subject... you are developing a habit in derailing conversations from their point and even "lock" conversations that are of most importance for people to understand basketball tactics... Your negativity on what matters and your insist to promote all irrelevant has caused this forum to hit its nadir...

why did you lock this?

Is it because you think that the Bucks (the best team in the league so far) changing their floor tactics in the playoffs is a matter of trivial importance? or is it because of the ...weather in Milwaukee?

You and Rivera are destroying this forum...

Because it was about after the first round which happened some time ago and it was just a bunch of troll posts. You want it to re-open for more of the same?

Some would argue that it's trolls ruining the forum.

Look at this thread, you started it and there has been no discussion other than about your errors. But let's wait and see if it turns around.

I hope the Bucks, get swept, and the Greek freak, don't win the MVP, just to piss you off Buckalis!😆

Exactly!... only that the Bucks never started Mirotic in the first round or the first game of the 2nd round against the Celtics! They did so for the first time only in the 2nd game and for the games of the 2nd round that followed and crashed the Celtics because of it!

So... who is the troll? Me who predicted and suggested the change of tactics before it ever happened, or you that locked the subject?

Sure... a conversation like this requires people that have some basketball IQ to get involved and this is extremely rare to find in a forum that is dominated and moderated by the few trolls that are remaining here and all they can "discuss" is the color of some players underwear, rape accusations and the ...weather they guess players don't like...

The votes for the MVP don't include the playoffs.

This was never Denverís season to be true contenders. Win or loss though they get playoff experience and 2 game 7s, one against the best coach ever and one against a superstar backcourt in Lillard and CJ.

As the youngest team in the playoffs, getting Michael Porter Jr back next year I think the window will be open for the next 4 years.

Yeah I know... but the Nuggets are only a game away from making to the WCF and that surely makes for a successful season that will bring the Nuggets "into the Map" for the seasons that follow... The Nuggets will no doubt be a desirable destination for FAs or players willing to be traded this off season and will surely improve their roster...

They may not be among the Top-4 desired destinations, but they'll surely be ranked high in desire and the top-4 don't have space for all available in the market.
