Vuvecic and the Magic just BLASTING Embiid and the Sixers right now

Embiid 3pt shooting should get them back into it though

Vucevic soundly outplays Embiid (who I'm currently watching solemnly walk to the bench with his head facing straight down - down 21 with 6 minutes to go), and the sub .500 Magic are now a half game back in the thrilling Eastern Conference playoff race.

still a better game than most of currys recent games but good try... the difference is if embiid is off we suck... if curry is off the best player durant just wills his team to a win

Curry is a champion young buddy. They're the 1 seed and coasting. Embiid is out here trying to set the world on fire, just recently saying he is, quote, "the MOST UNSTOPPABLE PLAYER IN THE NBA". And just got dismantled by Vucevic in a game that mattered. If they drop to the 4 seed, they're facing the Celtics in the 1st round. And we know how that story ends. How embarrassing.

curry is a champion with how many finals MVPs? Easy to win when you can take quarters or series off and let your superteam carry you

stick with me good buddy and i will eventually get my advanced knowledge into your head.

Is it? How would you or anyone on the Sixers know?

Rest assure, every player on the Warriors knows where the bread is buttered. And every advanced stat has shown it for years. I'm not too concerned with the subjective votes of a few old white dudes in a single series (half of which haven't even been worth discussing due to the blowouts).

What an L you boys took today. Simmons sits one day and you just get absolutely dismantled. Embarrassing.

Definitely. They have a great track record against Curry and the Warriors. Word is Harden takes his game up 3 notches when it matters. ;)

The Magic are no joke though. They are long and can defend and they blew out the Raps not too long ago. However, they were missing Lowry.

I don't know, but I feel like it's matched 3 times a game by every other team in the NCAA tournament.

Honestly it's a day off for me where I don't have a thing I really have to do and I only watched like 10 minutes of the Sixers game. **** NBA night outside of possibly Nets/Blazers (would be better if in Brooklyn).

To me they're your typical .500 team that will challenge you at home but look like **** on the road (Kings East is their best comparison). If they make the playoffs, they might steal 1 home game from the Bucks/Raptors and call it a series. It's too bad Oladipo blossomed late. With him, they'd be tough. But it's reasonable to suggest there's an internal issue there.

Yeah i just like their talent. I'm high on Isaac and Mamba but they are definitely not going very far this yr. If they make it, it will likely be an early exit.

man I wish they would fix this whole I will jump into the defender and draw a foul crap. mostly the shot I just saw Devin Booker draw. Refs gave us one right back though....

That won't/can't last. Maybe the biggest pet peeve for me in the NBA right now. But it's going to take a big-game moment to change it, unfortunately.

@aman, I like Mamba but I feel like he's in the wrong era. Needs to adapt, or make them adapt to him. Both young, so plenty of time.

Yup, they held on. OKC tried to pressure them, Memphis was beating that press with ease

Dude, being a Jazz fan is just really frustrating at times. I go to look at the halftime highlights of a game against a complete joke of a team that we are crushing by 20 at half and all the highlights are for the Sun's....wtf!?

yeah that Press was really bad. they gave up 3 straight layups after George hit back to back 3's. Westbrook looked a little rattled at least leaving the court. George hasn't been right. Wonder if he is hurt or if the law of averages is coming back on him.

booker is going off in the Jazz game, but too bad his team plays about zero defense. been a layup line for the Jazz.

Lol end the Jazz game might have been the most interesting 30 point blowout ever. Jimmer Freddette out there shooting like he is Devin Booker. BYU fans going crazy for every shot. Suns fouling to get Booker another shot. Jazz fouling so Booker can't get another shot.

That's a horrible and unfortunate loss for the Blazers. They were playing really well this year and so was Nurkic. This team had upset potential and now it's basically gone. Just a really bad break.

Nurkic is 6th in DPRM for centers and 8th overall. Kanter is 68th out of 69 for centers.

not saying he'll directly replace him....but of course your rankings are going to be low if you get no minutes....what does he do WITH them is the question, yes?

the rankings aren't based on minutes. by their stats Nurkic was the 6th best defensive center and kanter is the 2nd worst defensive center. Kanter has talent offensively, but there is a reason why the Jazz and Thunder gave up on him.

It comes down to the training staff not making use of their "Load management" rest games......surely if he had a couple games off this year- then he would have bounced right up after snapping his leg in half.

Its sad because right before the game, during an interview dude was literally thankful his team avoided big time injuries all year.
