Not big loss if he leaves.

Wizards should be interested if they're looking to go for a complete rebuild? But the trade details from last night suggests they're looking to make a run at the 7/8 seed

Is there a big market for the most inefficient player in the league?

KD is from Washington. Maybe Wizards trying to get enough expiring deals to chase KD? Not sure if they can get the 35% max opened up for him or not. Maybe dumping Porter to Kings gets it close since they dumped Rivers and Oubre now.

Can someone explain if his option gives much flexibility to get traded in the offseason (like George hill /JR Smith). I thought for that to be an asset there had to be a portion of it guaranteed like the other two I mentioned. It appears none of Jabari's deal is guaranteed in year 2.

Or does it just mean they have to exercise the option earlier.

Nobody will take that option. He will have to sign for less, probably much less.

I know that point missed obviously

He's a bum. Can only score... and by "score" I mean take a bunch of jumpers and make an okay percentage. Not actually attack the defense and get guys in foul trouble while feasting on a bunch of FTs each night, or finishing high percentage looks in the paint.

Can't rebound, pass, play defense, or be the leader of any winning team.

Michael Beasley vol. 2. Poor IQ will continue to derail his career, not injuries like the casual fan believes.

Listening to his quotes are the worst of all though.

Sounds completely lost saying 'he does what he's asked to do'.

Total clown doesn't understand that points per game isn't the barometer for impact.

Jabari will still be trash even if he plays for a crappy team

Despite the NBA and it's fans finally realizing that scoring is not the only important skill, it is still an important skill. On the right team Parker can still be very valuable, but he's never going to be a star and probably should never start.

Rumor is they will only trade for him if he agrees to a 4 year extension close to the max

The Bulls have tried to package forward Jabari Parker with the expiring contracts of either swingman Justin Holiday or center Robin Lopez in preliminary trade talks, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports. Parker, who has been benched by Boylen, has a $20MM team option on his contract for next season. Holiday is making approximately $4.4MM, while Lopez is pulling in $14.35MM this season.

I could see Rolo as a buyout candidate.

I can see a few desperate teams hoping Parker turns it around. Kings and Magic do some strange stuff. Hornets could be desperate. Heck Cuban known to eat big contracts to lure in a name that's regressing. Knicks at top of the list though.

They can unload especially if it means getting Jabari

Hornets could treat Parker as a rental since next year a team option. Waive him. Then you shave any dead cap you send out like Batum or whatever. Mavs maybe? They could flip rumored SmithJR and Matthews for Parker and Dunn or something along those lines.
