They got BKN -2.5. Second night of a back to back for Detroit against a Nets team that hasn't played terribly. As for the Lakers.....well you know. Their flaws are apparent, but I cant see them dropping a 3rd straight at home.

The Lakers should win but there's turmoil there already and I like rooting against Bron. Plus Luka is already playing with a little cheat-code to him.

Hoping AD actually suits up again tonight and they make it competitive with GS.

Although most of us are expecting the Lakers to win, I'm half expecting that most of the non-Laker fan game predictor would be very interested to see what happens if they lose.

there is 0 chance a lebron james led team with ingram/kuz/hart/mcgee etc etc is losing to this mavs team. Tonights blow out will lead them to a 2-1 record against the next 3 teams which will help them big time.

This is easily one of Jokic's worst games as a Nugget.

He's played pretty poorly the last couple games mainly because he's been too passive and then when he doesn't get involved he begins to get complacent and starts hesitating and turning the ball over. His biggest weakness has always his mental game.

One thing that's very concerning about the Nuggets as a whole is that they are shooting so poorly from 3 all of a sudden.

Nah he is out of sorts tonight. This is Denverís go to. They play soft and lose their balls against teams that are below average and make it a game. Maloneís play to Win it was brutal. Another reason I hate Malone. He canít draw up a play to save your life. This was a trap game and I think Chicago wins this.

Wendall looked good. He may not be as ďtalentedĒ as a lot of young guys but this guy was my safest pick and he can do too many things to be worried about his start early. We're still pretty early in this, so just getting people to participate is a good thing. If we need to tighten up the rules and what not soon, we'll definitely do it.

Iím not trying to be a dick but this could open the door for someone ďmissingĒ the first set of games that are all coin flips and getting their picks in for the late projected blowout games to lift their win percentage. Not saying MTM is doing that at all but it could set a precedent.

In every pick Ďem league Iíve played in, itís been picks by the first opening tip/pitch/kickoff/whatever. I know weíre just having fun and itís just for bragging rights or whatever but I think there should be a sense of a level playing field. I also know that itís a new thing and weíre trying to work out the kinks. You and Rivera have been doing a great job, btw, and if you decide that people can pick and choose which games they want to ďbetĒ on in any given day, then so be it. Itís your call.

Take tonight, for example. A lot of us had similar picks but the first games all turned into ot or down to the wire games while the final set might be all blowouts for the expected winners. I just think that if someone bets on a given day, it should be across the board. Now when we start getting noon games, then we might need to tweak stuff but that wonít be half the games.

MTM is my boy and all but this is correct. I know it's just for fun but if we're gonna have a minimum at the very least picks should only count if all picks are made for the day. It would be way to easy to not choose a winner in games that are expected to be close and then make a choice on the easier games. Completely skews the results.

If u want to make it real gambling status u can make it spreads instead and then everyone's choices would really differ. Makes it way more challenging. Up to you tho. If u need site to get the spread, Bovada or any other sportsbook usually has them a day in advance. Every game becomes a coin flip, so anything 50% would be considered impressive. Even games that are no brainers this way become hard to gauge.

Hell, even the ESPN mobile app shows the spread a day ahead.

That loss was on Wes Matthews. Very stupid of him to foul Labron on that last possession.

Bron did everything he could to choke it away, but the Mavs had Lakers moneyline it seems.

Another 37 and 9 from Curry with 7 threes on 65% on Jrue Holiday and the Pels. Another day at the office for him. AD getting the quick peek of how far he is away from true MVP status.

Fun day of ball.

This team is the lakers Dwight Howard team all over again.

We will struggle all season - Check
Barely make the playoffs - TBD
LeBron will suffer a devastating Injury - TBD
We will get swept first round - TBD
We will be stuck with a horrible contract on an all time great player - TBD

It's all starting to look pretty damn familiar!

5 for 5 from the field and the game tying shot from Luka in the 2nd half btw. Nice combeack after the slow start. Actually finishes with an efficient night after starting 0-6 in the first half. He'll definitely be special, especially if he sheds the baby fat.

he had to think he had a foul to give.

Yea I think so as well.

He overplayed LeBron and then when LeBron got by him he took the foul probably thinking they had a foul to give.

Gotta be smarter in that situation.

the thing is its extremely stupid because he really just had to play off lebron and lebron would have settled for either a fade from right inside the arc or a long *** 3 point shot... 9 times out of 10 this probably goes into overtime but 100 times out of 100 the lakers should never blow a lead in the 4th up double figures to that bad dallas team

He was really bad in the first half, seemed disengaged in the offense, non factor on defense, but definitely redeemed himself in the 2nd.

Agreed. He was out of sorts, but hes not a normal rookie. Bounced right back and made a.nice night out of it for himself.

Side note, I'm liking the Pels even more this year. They might have the best bigs in the league with Mirotic playing like a legitimate All Star and Randle playing great off the bench.

Lakers need to figure out how to close games. Every game outside of Phoenix has came down to a single possession before things got out of control. Literally makes no sense how this team breaks down like this. LeBron or Luke need to sit down and come up with something when the game gets out of control.

DeMar is averaging 28/6/8 playing the most minutes on a Spurs team that doesn't have a true starting PG. Considering he doesn't take any threes, he's been an absolute monster offensively. Gotta give the dude his respect. showing up for his team.

You must have missed AD's comments heading into the season for my context there. He said he was the games best player and gunning for MVP.
