I can't wait until the officiating stabilizes so we can get back to seeing some defense.

Well, I haven't seen any major errors by the officials so far.

all laker games have been horribly officiated. And I don't mean against lakers, i mean both ways. Still horrible tho.

I've seen a lot of officials guessing on contact in the "freedom of movement" calls where a player is moving toward the basket.

Doesn't seem as bad as usual.... Then again, last year we had a guy walk out of bounds and win the game so :laugh2:

When Jonas Jerebko is laughing at the refs when he gets the benefit of a call you know something is wrong.

He somehow manages the same thing against Embiid too.

I feel they are calling the blocking foul on defenders that are moving but staying in front the whole time more. Itís one they had started getting right but I feel like it switched back a little

The Knicks Wizards game last night and there game against the Bulls tonight was terrible officiated. Without Tim Hardaway the Knicks are a bad offense team. It leads to some sluggish play. In a game without much pace and without creators on the floor its almost like the refs felt they had to call something every time down. Sometimes itís just ugly

I don't see Lebron getting those superstar fouls as much this year compared to last. Wonder what you guys think of that.

his free throw rate is actually average for his career. It's neither low or high. He's getting the calls but you can't expect to shove everyone with an elbow and get every call.

LOL true. Although Harden has mastered that move. It's not as obvious with him.

I've watched 4 Grizzlies games and one of Gasol's pet moves is to straight up shove a defender in the chest, arm extended, and I haven't seen it called yet. There is some pretty strange non-calls to go with the over abundance of phantom calls.

Can always count on Scoots for the yearly officiating thread.
