Going to piggy back onto our top 30 players at each draft slot, and this time, vote for the best draft class in rank and order.

We'll be doing the top 5 classes, at least.

today, we are voting on the top draft class ever, next week we'll do the second best

For those curious how I determined the top 30 draft classes, I broke it down to what draft classes had the most players with at least 80 career WS, and went from there.

84 was more top heavy but 96 was deep as hell. AI, Kobe, Ray, Peja, Nash, Camby, Marbury, Walker, Jermaine.

Stockton, Jordan, Barkley, and Hakeem. Wowie.

The only logical answer to this question is 1984, IMO. The '96 and '03 draft classes were excellent, but 84 had four arguably top 25 players of all-time in the same draft class. That's unmatched historically, and no other class comes remotely close. I will say that the depth of the 96 draft class was pretty remarkable, but 84's draft class wasn't exactly thin after the top four guys.

96 has great longevity it seems and historic players at the top but by pure star power I got 84 then 06, then 96, after that gimme 97

100+ WS guys

1984 - 6 - Sam Perkins, Otis Thorpe, Hakeem Olajuwon, Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, John Stoctkon
1996 - 3 - Steve Nash, Ray Allen, Kobe Bryant
2003 - 4 - LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, and Carmelo Anthony

70-99.9 WS guys
1984 - 9 - Jerome Kersey, Michael Cage, Kevin Willis, Sam Perkins, Otis Thorpe, Hakeem Olajuwon, Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, John Stockton
1996 - 11 - Derek Fisher, Jermaine O'Neal, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Shareer Abdur-Rahim, Stephon Marbury, Marcus Camby, Peja Stojakovic, Allen Iverson, Steve Nash, Ray Allen, Kobe Bryant
2003 - 6 - Kyle Korver, David West, LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, and Carmelo Anthony

I feel like initial reaction is that 96 has the depth, and 84 has the star power, and that 03 is behind both.
