Who y'all got for Rookie of the Year?

Ayton
Bagley
Doncic
Jackson Jr.
Bamba
Young
Sexton

Or which rookie from the 2018 Class y'all have as your Rookie of the Year?

I think Sexton is in the best position to win it playing with a few vet shooters to help space the floor for him to work. Ayton would be next choice but im sure someone else unexpected will make a run.

Doncic. Most nba ready on a bad team.

Could even be Porter Jr...be playing out there in Denver

Porter probably isnt playing this year. He just had a 2nd back surgery recently.

Young has the green light in ATL. He was already jacking in the summer league and I dont expect him jacking up shots to slow down. Im going trigger Trae

If not Porter Jr. then it will be Marvin Bagley III

I'd actually be genuinely surprised if it wasn't Luka Doncic. He's probably the most skilled and NBA-ready prospect in the class, and he's joining a team with a number of veterans and a great coach. One thing that gives him an edge, too, is that he doesn't have to shoot well to have a great rookie season. The guy can contribute in enough areas and is versatile enough that, even if he's a mediocre 3-point shooter, he could still be a 15/7/5 type guy as a rookie.

Does Fultz count?

i did look this up though, and no. He is not eligble because he played last season. Someone referenced your old boy Julius Randle as an example. Randle broke his leg his rookie year and played 13 minutes. But because he played in that 1 game, he wasnt eligible for ROY the following season

Ben Simmons

Doncic. Smith might end up with 20, Barnes with 18. if the team averages even 100 PPG, someone has to fill up the stat sheet.

Sexton is a good candidate too considering the context of piling up numbers.

I'm just repeating the opinions of most so far.

I would put money on both Doncic and Trae Young, your going to get good odds with Young. But he is in a prime situation to fill it up. Doncic is in a nice situation as well and he is the most pro ready. Doncic with less odds is safer, hedged with Trae young who has juicy odds is what I'm looking at.

probably Bagley, but I can't believe Knox doesn't even get mentioned?

With KP out this kid is going to get every opportunity to shine.

Oh and Carter predicts the same when he was asked one of Bagley or Knox.

I can't really give the advantage to anyone among Ayton, Bagley, Doncic, Sexton, Young and Bamba. They all have talent and plenty of opportunity. Knox might surprise some people too if he steps up while Porzingis is out.
I'd like to see Jackson steal it by being the third-best player on a surprise F-U grit-n-grind playoff run next to Gasol and Conley. He's got the tools to be part of a monster front court.
