Will Barton and Denver will come to terms on a four-year deal just north of $50 million when free agency opens, according to Chris Mannix of Yahoo! Sports.
That's a big payday for Will The Thrill after he was just a throw-in player in a deal with the Blazers. That big salary means that Denver is likely looking at some heavy tax dollars, so they'll be looking to dump salary. As for Barton, he'll be looking at a significant role as a wing and plenty of ball-handling responsibilities.

He's really good one way, but his game hasn't really been growing from what I've seen.

with chandler coming off the books next year and porter being a big question mark i think it was a good idea to lock him down. especially with the pacers breathing down his neck lol

Really not a bad move. One of the best 6 men in the league. Decent in terms of money. Bad defender. Slots in at starting SF until Porter comes back next year.

Pacers should have outbid that.

Pacers should have outbid that.

May not have been just about the money. If we assume that's true how much more could the Pacers have offered?

is it 50 or 54 ? I have seen both reported.
