its all good. Heat will win in 7 anyways. Wade averages 60 on 90% shooting those last 3 games, hits a fadeaway three buzzer beater game winner in marco bellineli's face in game 7

no not really. dude is overmatched a just fouls him most of the time. Embiid is just missing jumpers while adjusting to a mask he hardly can see out of, but you know this.Bingo

Hopefully.the Sixers can finish the Heat by halftime. Make a statement heading into the 2nd round.

Some Heat fans before Embiid came back: "OMG Embiid can ruin things for you. He's going to be rusty. He's not going to be the same. He'll struggle at times."

Embiid comes back and is a little rusty.

Those same Heat fans after Embiid came back "OMG Whiteside owns Embiid. The low FG% is all due to Whiteside."

What a joke. We see right through it.

Hahahahahaha.

This series is going back to miami GUARANTEED!

No chance man, the league showed us which way they wanted this series to go when they had the refs take over in the 2nd half when the Heat got up. It's a shame but it is what it is. They're trying to hype up the new up and coming team and trying to make it seem like it won't be Cavs vs Warriors part 4 to bring some interest back.

We can’t beat them in a clean basketball game so we’re gonna purposely get more physical and rough them up. But we’re also gonna complain about foul calls when we do that. And we’re still gonna lose those games. Lol. Miami Heat logic.

Definitely not it, like I said though it is what it is. First 3 games were good, but when the Heat got up big in the 2nd half they took over the game. You guys were being just as physical and matching the style of play.

It's unfortunate it ends tonight because it's been a fun one and I was hoping to see 7 of them but the jig is up!

Hope you’re right. I’m not calling it over until it’s over, even though Vegas already has. We have to take care of business. I do not want this series going back to Miami with added pressure on us. We have you guys wounded. Time for the kill shot.

Gonna see about 3 or 4 in the 2020's from the Browns myself.

Indians are still good but not as good as they were 2 years ago.

Cavs will be relevant again 10 years from now after tanking for awhile just as the Browns start to decline.

The future is bright!

Good series Philly was fun **** talking with you guys. I disagree with the huge foul and free throw shooting disparity these last 2 games but whatever, I'm just glad the season didn't end because of injuries for the first time in awhile.

2014: Wade on half a leg, wouldn't have beat the Spurs regardless
2015: miss playoffs due to Bosh clots, deng and Wade injuries
2016: no Bosh or Whiteside but push the Raptors to 7 in round 2
2017: Rondo goes down after going up 2-0 headed back home

I think coaching is the most underrated thing on your alls team, Brown is much better than Spo and he showed it.

Good luck to you all!!!

Congrats 76ers.

Heat just don't have enough offense. Arguably the best half court scorer they had is Waiters and he's done for the season. Whiteside stopped trying and is mentally incapable of improving because he seems pretty dense.

Will be interesting to see if Sixers empty the cupboard of shooters to chase a big name this summer. I think without all the depth of Ilyasova and Bellinelli along with Reddick, all 3 will be FAs and will want money. But those shooters are exactly what killed Miami.

There goes the other parlay

Yeah 0-2 for me today too. That was rough. Just needed 13 points from D Wade on the player prop. Knew he'd get his shots in a closeout. 4-15 though, rough. I've been due for a cooler though.

I hope they bring all of them back. They all fit the style of play Brown wants to play. I I'd rather not bring in LeBron and slowly bring it up court, iso, rinse, repeat. More speed, more shooting. This is a fun team to root for.

He couldn't match MJ simply for the fact that literally everything D Wade had, MJ was better at (defense, post up, mid-range, passing, slashing, etc), but he was in that mold. He's a big reason why I started following the league as a whole more than just the Warriors (which is pretty much all I did outside of Warriors/Bulls from 90-2003).

Are you talking about when the refs missed two clear reach ins on him so he just kept chasing a smaller quicker player, fouled again and hit JJ bc he lost his balance?

Not sure how close you've been following the series (and James Johnson's complete contempt for the Sixers + constant scraps) or if you know how elite his hands are (pro fighter), but none of that was a mistake. And none of it looked like a mistake. You can say slapping/hitting dudes in the head isn't worthy of an ejection, but that's what he was doing. On purpose.

It's irrelevant to be honest, but I like to think I have a pretty good understanding of body control and I can pretty easily tell Johnson had no reason to hit either of them. Watch the replay again with clear eyes. Why would he raise his arm 8 inches above where the ball is to hit him in the head? Then clear through on another player? None of it made sense. It's because it was on purpose. He's been HEATED at them the past 4 games. It's pretty cut/dry to me. That said, who cares. I liked it.

I'm happy for Brown too, after all the **** he went thru as a coach he finally has a solid team around and is working wonders with it. I feel we went up against the current best team in the East. They have the talent, the defense, the movement, the shooting and the versatility to win against anyone. They can throw countless combinations of players out there and not miss a beat.

I haven't seen a lot of Raptors/Wizards so I can't say for sure that this is the best current team in the East. But with the combination of talent and shooting they have I'm pretty sure they have to be. Cavs are a mess, Pacers don't have enough, Celtics are well coached but they are lacking firepower, Bucks see Cavs. Will be interesting to see how Stevens defends this Philly team, if anyone can do it is him and his team.

Sixers have the best player but the Heat have the most dangerous.

Playoff experience is being very underrated here.

Well if we're talking about doing something serious in the playoffs then yea, Wade and UD are the only ones but a lot of them have postseason experience. Majority of the team does actually outside of Bam. You're going to see a lot of new schemes and there's going to be a lot of game planning going on that could really hurt Simmons who can't shoot and Fultz is pretty much being thrown straight into the fire. You have a few guys with experience but hay doesn't do much for Simmons, Embiid, Fultz, Covington, TJ, Anderson, Holmes, etc.

It's fine for you to not understand, you haven't been in the playoffs for awhile so you may have forgot the differences but things slow down, schemes are much more in depth, and guys either fold or flourish under the pressure. You all may have the best player but Whiteside dominated him last game so I'll be interested to see how that goes. If playoff Wade returns this year you all have no one that can battle him down the stretch of a close game as he showed the last time they played. Playoffs are a lot different

Oh man, you guys are cocky as hell for a team that hasn't been in the playoffs in a long time. Wade already busted that *** this year, he'll do it again. If you're up 25 in the 3rd then good for you, in the end it'll be 1 loss. I watch a Heat vs Hawks series back in 08-09 where the Heat would win by 20 then the Hawks would win the next one by 20. Adjustments and schemes are on a whole new level in the playoffs. Simmons is going to struggle with no jumpshot and someone like James Johnson guarding him.

So experience, defense, and coaching don't matter. Got it, thanks for that very, very dumb statement and showing everyone how smart you aren't.

Wade, Spo, UD, Olynyk, JJ, TJ, JRich, Winslow, Dragic, Whiteside all have playoff experiences. The Heats main guys have it, Simmons, Embiid, Fultz, TJ, Covington, etc do not. Their top guys have no experience and it will show from time to time. I'll be surprised if Spos defensive sets don't lock Simmons up in the half court game

Leading up to the playoffs they have the highest scoring bench in the league and the 3rd best home record in the league.....

It doesn't matter who they're playing, their lack of experience would be pointed out and it will be exposed multiple times in the series.

The stupidity reigns on and on....:laugh::laugh::laugh:

The Heat were -59 with Wade off the court, +4 with him on and he scored or assisted on every clutch basket for the Heat for the series. Averaged 17-4-4 for the series and at 36 proved to still be Miamis best player. He probably should've started and played 32 MPG, if so the series may still be going but whatever. Point is, he still has a lot left in the tank so hopefully he returns. Don't see why he would if they just bring the same team back though, Riley is washed up but maybe he'll be able to move some pieces here and there. I doubt Wade wants to be the best player on a middle of the pack team while coming off the bench.

Looking at MPG, Spo was really bad this series. He didn't push his best players hard enough and make them play big minutes.

Probably not top 3 as that's a huge jump but I don't really know how he would be viewed to be honest.

I'll throw him getting his meniscus taken out in college out of the window since it wasn't in the NBA. I think his 2 biggest career altering injuries were in 04-05 in the ECF when they were up 3-2 on the Pistons and he injured his ribs to the point he could barely move. The other were the shoulder and knee injuries in 06-07, dislocates his shoulder and shattered his rotator cuff like 50 games in when he was leading the MVP race and looking primed for a repeat. Both finals appearances would've been against the Spurs (who the Heat had their number) and he would've had to beat LeBron to get to one of them. So let's say absolute best case scenario he wins 2 more rings as the guy, 2 more finals MVPs and an MVP, while taking 2 rings from Duncan an MVP from Dirk and a Finals appearance from LeBron. Keep in mind these injuries were only his 2nd and 4th years of his career, we all know what he did in his 3rd year. How high does this boost him? I'm not really sure but I would say it for sure puts him about Kobe and Duncan and LeBron and Wade would've been a very fun debate as Wade would've been doing all this in a league where he was top 2 with LeBron the entire time.

We split the series both times those years fwiw :)

Idk if you guys would've matched up better than Detroit did in 05, those guys were insanely tough, mainly cause they had 2 elite defenders to throw at TD. But it is always fun to think about matchups that could've happened.

I would've enjoyed playing against those heats teams early on, they were fun to watch. Plus it would've added another TD vs Shaq matchup which was always good times

are you trying to say Embiid isnt impressive?

this is such an odd thing to get mad online about, like its a fact, whats the issue?

Lol. We got lectured all series about how the “playoffs are a different animal” and “experience matters.” Talked down to like we don’t know our players are good and like we’ve never witnessed a Sixers playoff game before. As if we should expect guys like Ben and Joel to suck their first time in the playoffs.

Then I share a tweet showing Embiid is one of only 7 players in the last 45 years to average 19/10/3 in his first 3 playoff games. Doing it in limited minutes, not even playing his best, coming back from missing time, and playing with a mask that he clearly hates playing with. The other guys to do it are all superstars and hall of famers.

And the guy gets all pissy about it being a stat salad and it’s unimpressive. If you think it’s unimpressive, I disagree but you’re entitled to your opinion. But acting like an a-hole about it because you think it’s worthless is so bizarre. Who cares? Lol. I was just sharing a tweet.

What an odd thing to get mad about.

If wade played 48 minutes the heat still lose in 5.... You don't get whipped 4 time's and say well if we did one thing we'd still be in it. The heat are an inferior team to the Sixers and jothing coulda changed that other than some catastrophic injuries to at least 3-4 Sixers.

That's not true. Sixers probably still win but yea there's definitely 1 thing you could change that could've pushed the series longer.

Wade isnt physically capable of playing that many more mins. it would not have made a difference. he made an impact in one game.

He single handedly won one game but he had an impact in majority.

he did one game but that was the end of it. he wasnt a factor any other game, at all.

Lmao yes he very much was. Dude was a positive for the series in a series the Heat lost 2 games by 20+. That tells you enough right there.

If Spo let Wade play more in the series of course we would have lost. Come on man. All that playoff experience. He would have “playoff experienced” us to death

Congrats 6'ers fans...

I am very much disappointed by the treatment of the League towards the Miami HEAT Organization and it's fan base. Pat needs to find away to get some star players in, or we will continue to get by passed by teams that have marquee players.
