With last night's loss, the Spurs will officially not have 50 wins this season (or the equivelent winning percentage) for the first time in two decades.

That said... 21 straight seasons in the playoffs is pretty impressive...

not surprising that it correlates with Timmy leaving

Dude never gets the proper amount of respect for what he accomplished...

They can still get to 48 wins. What an amazing accomplishment and the only reason the streak stopped is because they didn't have their best player, who also happens to be one of the top 5 players in the game. That and they were riddled with injuries all season. I'll put a personal asterisk to this season.

I didn't think they could do it at the start of the year, boy was I wrong. I feel ashamed to cash in given kawhi but I've never felt dirtier than cashing in on the cowardly kd and I need to get off my cheapo diet

Team didn't exactly fall off without him and they lost their best player on top of it. Never felt Duncan was on that shaq level

Duncan had a different impact on the game, and played in a differnt culture.

But you have a great point here. I mean... they won 61 games without Duncan last year. So the fall off didn't happen because Duncan left... it happened becaue they lost Leonard for the season.
