Fun slate of games coming up. If Brooklyn beats Sacramento then our hopes of a top 3 pick will come spiraling down.

Embiid is gonna wreck the Cavs. We will be witnesses to this tonight:

Huge game for the Sixers vs the Cavs! Chance to get back within 2.5 of 3rd place with a game in hand. Should be a wild game. Looks like Illyasova will be available too.

the amount of national love and hype we are getting right now is insane esp on a 2 game losing streak... its all lebron to philly and embiid/simmons talk and how the sixers can win over lebron and be the favorites next year if he goes and forms a 3 headed monster with them... I LOVE IT.

The talk all day has been nuts.

Seeing the Blazers and the T'Wolves going at it; it could be a potential playoff matchup and to see Lillard & McCollum going up against Jimmy Buckets and company is another game I am most excited about.

James getting every call tonight. But that behind the back between Thompsons legs to himself reminds Harden that he's still learning.

Tristan Thompson has no hope against Embiid.

Terrible loss by Miami. Looks like 36 year old is still the best player on this team. Whiteside has regressed since Wade left.

Philly has to figure out that LeBron switch. Reddick has been switching in him the last 4 possessions.

These days all the "good rebounders" in the NBA push, blocking out is a lost art.

LOL Chris Webber.

That's stupid "As a PG it's a great play to get the ball to Embiid and JJ for that two man game, but as a player you need to keep that and hit the foul shots."

So what was it, the right play or the wrong play?

Wrong play. In normal circumstances it's a good play where the pg gets get the ball moving, but right there he shoulda kept it

Why he prefaced it as" but as a player", I have no clue

Nance doesn't even jump from what I've seen. He pushes on the hip when the guy is up, then taps it out after the fact.

LOL Jordan Clarkson. Don't chase the guy like you want to foul him and ***** when they make a layup on you.

PAOboston
03-01-2018, 11:43 PM
They wanted to, but Cavs defenders were chasing a little, so to a young team that looks like they are coming with the intent to foul.Eh. Not buying that.

That being said, Clarkson with the loser Laker mentality. Let it go man.

It's looking like that Brooklyn pick is going to be back to #8 by the end of the night. When the Knicks really start to tank it's possible the Nets pick goes down to #9 but I doubt it goes lower than that.

Within 2 season embiid will be the best player in basketball... Monster defender that has no weaknesses on offense.

he is amazing. I'm watching him matched on Nance and he is the most impactful player on the floor and the whole time i'm thinking if he used the skills he already has he'd be so much more dominate. he's got game

Considering he went from irrelevant to the best C in basketball in 1 season that's not outrageous ... but it's probably premature.

Iím with MTM. He makes everything look easy. The only hole I see in his game is he doesnít quite know how to best use all his skills

yup... i honestly think its because of how late in his life he learned basketball... when he could beast inside more he goes with his touch and skill over just sheer dominance or bullying... if i have 2 things i want him to fix its his over dribbling at times and him knowing when to just flat out dominate inside. He should have killed nance last night. I also kinda hate how he goes all out all the time.. I love it from a lover of the game stand point because he seems to have a kobe/jordan like mentality where they just want to win but watching him dive 4 rows into the stands to save a ball twice a game is dumb. Again I think this all comes together over the next 2 years and he becomes that insane player with no holes but even i still worry about health.

it just depends on health really. His skill set is just so special.

I agree, I just think, if we look back at players who showed incredible potential there have been a LOT of them that never maxed out their potential. I'm just saying, yes, he looks like he could be an all-time great, but it's a little early to assume he's going to get there.

I think Clarkson had money on the game and Saric's bucket tipped the margin.
